SUCH a nice mascara!

I've long been a proponent for drugstore mascaras, since I usually find them equal to (or better than!) the quality of high-end mascaras. My all-time favourite, holy grail mascara is also Maybelline: waterproof rocket volume express. That said, while I frequently do not get along with non-waterproof mascaras, I LOVED this one! Not only does it build up quickly, super black, with no clumps and lots of length, without sacrificing volume, but it managed to make it through a day at work without smudges or smears (and I work at Starbucks, which can be a warm, sweaty job). I'm very impressed with this stuff, I hope that the waterproof is just as good, as this formula has one itself a regular spot in my everyday makeup bag beside the rocket volume express.

A bit dry and not for me

I opened it straight from a sealed package and the mascara was a bit on the dry side. I needed a few coats to actually see some results. I have really short lashes so I was expecting these to be a noticeable change, but it didn't have that effect on me. The tips of my lashes looks really thin - just not the look for me.

No Lie

MAYBELLINE New York Lash Sensational® Sky High Washable Mascara pleasantly surprised me. The brush is thinner and less bristly than I'm used to so I wasn't sure, but it worked great for giving me long, separated lashes and no clumps. I have longer lashes to start with, but this definitely amplified them and brought some volume too. The wand was flexible, and I was able to get full coverage top to bottom to corners. The mascara wasnt too thick in the bottle either, more liquidy. My lashes stayed great all day and held up nicely. Worked great with one coat, and even better with two just work up from the lash line from root to tip to get maximum benefits.

Beautiful lashes

I think this is my new favorite mascara! Sky high glides through every lash separating and lengthening. You get sky high volume with one swipe of Maybelline's flexible wand. I love this type of brush because it gets right to the base of my lashes, giving me sky high volume on every lash, with no clumps or tranchula eyes.

I received the MAYBELLINE New York Lash Sensational® Sky High Washable Mascara from @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @maybelline for FREE in exchange for my honest review.
The first thing I noticed about this mascara is the flexible brush. It easily glides through lashes and even gets the tiny little lashes that are usually hard to get. The only thing I don’t like is that the formula is very wet. If you do not wipe the bristles of the brush on the rim of the tube before applying it, it adds to much on your eyelashes which makes it clumpy and smudges.
They advertise that this mascara creates volume, and they aren’t lying. I wear glasses and have long natural eyelashes so for me this mascara created to much volume to the point where my eyelashes were touching my glasses. I had no problem removing the mascara with makeup remover. I would recommend this mascara for my ladies who do not wear glasses. #topratedbeauty

Just okay

I'm still trying to find a good dupe for a higher end mascara that I prefer to use. I almost found it with this one, but something is still a little off. This mascara has the brush type/size that I prefer, so that's a start. The brush is smaller, and I just find that easier to work with. It's easier to fine tune the lashes with a smaller brush. I just found when using this mascara that it seemed like not as much mascara was transfering from the brush to my lashes. I end up using more coats than I would with other mascaras. I also find the lengthening effects isn't as great as I would like it to be. A good thing about this mascara is that there is very minimal transfer to the skin under my eyes. Overall I really wanted to like this mascara, but the effect on my lashes is just not what I hoped it would be. I may or may not purchase this again in the future.

Works just great

I love this mascara as it volumizes my lashes and separates them well after few coats only . Also without giving them a super thick look but just a natural and casual wearing. I loved this and recommend it

Sky high is an understatement

I love this mascara it lifts and lengthens like no other. No clumping and the wand has flex to reach all the little lashes you may sometimes miss. Really nice tube it comes in (stylish)

Beautiful Long Lashes

This mascara is washable, long lasting and didn't smudge. It lengthens your lashes without clumping and the slim flexible brush is slightly tapered so you can reach your lashes in the corners easily. It goes on wet but dries down quickly giving your lashes a beautiful curl, great length and lots of volume.

New York Lash Sensational® Sky High Washable Mascara I love maybelline mascaras in the past but I really like this one because I have very small lashes and this mascara gives them more length and volume and my eyes looks more open and i doesn’t smudge all day and super easy to take it off with makeup remover in the end of the day.
