I just bought this tonight on sale for $4.50 at Ulta. I tried a bit and was pretty pleased with how well it went on and looked. It feels a lot like the foundation that is under the same line from Maybelline. So if you like the foundation, you'll like this... if you dont, then you probably wont like the blush.
I liked the selection of colors and the product seems pretty good so far. I'd probably buy it again someday if I find it on sale.
I have bought this from Mauritian local supermarket..hmm it is rather expensive here. I got this in Peache Quarts 40 for some 25$.
But I really like this. I apply this over my Loreal Mineral powder. It really goes on smoothly and looks very natural on my light medium skin. This color is not so shimmery - it looks very natural and not so pigmented. you just get peachy healthy and very beautiful look:)
I also want to buy the Brown one but it's expensive. I have read in some Maybelline website that you can try to use it as a bronzer. I think It would work nicely.
I tried the blush in "True Peach" and I have to say this was my favourite product of the Mineral Power line. It went on nicely and looked natural - perfect for a spring glow.
A little goes a long way for the powder. The product lasted all day and I will be using this in my rotation for blush. Given my other blush cost $20 , this is a great drugstore blush at an affordable price.
I tend to be really picky about my blush and generally prefer a cream blush, however I was quite pleased with this product. I use a lot of loose powders and am aware that a little goes a long way, so I didn't have the problem with "over coverage" that some other girls did. I found that it went on nicely and provided a natural glow that I liked.
I was really impressed with the power blush. I'm very fair, so I chose original rose, but I was worried about whether the colour would suit me or be too dark. I had no reason to worry! The colour was dark enough to be effective but subtle enough to appear natural. I had to be careful, though, not to get too much on the brush and found that tapping the bottle helped to get off the excess. I tossed out my old blush after trying the power blush and it is now part of my everyday makeup!
My skin has a lot of red undertones, so I normally do not use blush on an everyday basis because of my fear of looking too flushed all the time. However, I gave the “rose” colour a try and found that it looked really natural. I used the application brush and only used a very small amount but found it blended well and was muted enough to not look red or blotchy. I think I will continue to use it more regularly as it went on lightly and didn’t feel or look like I was wearing any make-up. The loose powder application was new to me, but after a few days I got used to it and liked it a lot!
I got this blush in the Peach tone and was very worried that it would be too pinky for my skin tone. But I'd heard peach tones were in for the season so I thought this was a good opportunity to try it out. I have been pleasantly surprised. It does tend to go on heavy, as some of the ladies mentioned, but if you are careful, use a good brush and tap off the extra it can look very nice and natural. I use a little bit on the apples of my checks and really like the healthy glow. I would recommend this blush to anyone looking for an effective blush at a reasonable price.
I had a slightly mixed reaction to this product. The first time I tried it, I hated it. Mostly because I think I was trying to use the little brush that came with it and it went on way too heavy, I actually had to take my makeup off and redo it without the blush. I gave it another shot though with a real blush brush and a lot of tapping and it seemed to go on pretty nicely. It was a nice colour (different from my normal colour) and blended in pretty well. The only thing I really didnt like was that it is a loose powder so it made it difficult to get the quantity of blush you wanted without wasting/tapping, etc. I am not sure that I would buy it again or that I am hooked on it, but it will remain in my makeup bag and likely get used :)
I have this blush in True Peach and I have to say that this is my fav product in Maybelline's mineral line. The colour gave me a nice peachy glow that looked very natural. I was also able to build the colour without having it look fake. The only disappointing aspect was that I found that the colour didn't last all day. By the time i got home after a really long day you could no longer see any colour on my cheeks. Other than that I would definitely recommend the mineral blush in true peach because the colour is gorgeous, looks natural and can be buildable.
I chose the True Peach shade and I was really happy it was a true peach shade and not peachy-pink. I prefer a pressed powder blush but I loved how natural the blush looked. It's definitely buildable so you can keep applying until the desired colour. The little brush kind of irritates my skin so I prefer to use a real blush brush. You definitely need to tap it off in the container before applying because the brush can grab a lot of product. If you buff it into the skin it looks like the colour is coming from underneath the skin. I love how healthy and radiant the colour makes me. I'd definitely recommend it for those who love mineral blushes or love loose powders.
