I bought this as an alternative to pricier mineral foundations and found that it works even better! The colors blend really well and provide coverage that can be sheer or built to cover my skin redness. This products works well and is easy to apply if i am in a rush and lasts most of the day. It runs upper middle in price at most drug stores, but it is well worth it! Maybelline has redeemed themselves for me.

This mineral foundation gives me great coverage for my blemishes without looking like I have too much makeup on. It feels very light on my face and is very natural looking. I will not go back to those thick and heavy feeling liquid foundations as long as they make things like this.

I loved this powder when i bought it, and when i first bought it in Canada, it was $8! Now it's $17. Also, while a great product, not much product is actually in the container. I also noticed this with their superstay lip colour - NOT MUCH PRODUCT for the price. And it's not like i use tons of the stuff. Covergirl has much more product for the price, and i'm sad to say that due to the price and lack of enough product for the price, i'm switching back to covergirl.

I've always used liquid foundation and was wary of powered. After trying this product though, I could never go back to the liquid form. I have always hated wearing foundation because it always felt so thick and heavy on my face. I decided to take a chance and try this product after reading reviews here, and fell in love.

Maybelline's Mineral Powder Foundation goes on really smooth and light. After applying it my face feels light and bare. I can touch my face, scratch an itch, etc., without having foundation come off on my fingers. As I've noticed with most liquid foundations, it looks like it's caked on (on myself and others). This one left my skin looking smooth and kind of glowing.

The one thing that saddens me is the price..in Canada each container costs me about $14. I was recently down in the states and saw that they run for $8! I'm kicking myself for not picking some up when I was last there (at the time I couldn't remember how much it was in Canada).

I did not like this product but mainly because none of the colors really suited my skintone. I rate a foundation product based on you not really 'seeing' the makeup on me and it looking like I am not wearing any makeup. I agree with the other reviewers that the consistency of the product was nice but because I could not find a tone that matched my skin I did not leave the product on long enough to see if it dried my skin out or did not product an oily shine after awhile. For me this product was a miss but I have also had friends that love it so I guess it is really hit or miss based on skin type and color.

I was a little nervous as well about trying a foundation powder. But hearing allot about mineral foundations I went out and bought this yesterday and have been so pleased with it that I feel like I never want to go back to liquid foundations again! I love how it feels on my skin, like I'm wearing nothing on my face. It is also great for a nice natural look and evens out my skin tones and also great for anyone with a t-zone problem like I have. The only problem, as others mentioned, is the brush for it is too stiff, but a nice medium soft brush takes care of that. This is one of the best make up purchases I've made in a while. I'm also extreamly pleased at how well it blends and looks like you are not wearing make up at all.

I was really happy with this product. I normally use bare-minerals but i was out of town with no make-up and ended up buying this for the time being. It worked great!. The coverage was just as good as bare-minerals and stayed on all night.

The loose powder foundation was the one product I was looking forward to and overall, it didn't disappoint.

I got the product in "Classic Ivory" and it went well with my skin tone. The consistency of the product was light but provided good coverage that lasted all day.

One thing that I didn't like that could be due to the season (spring and still very dry air) was that the product was a little too drying on my t-zone which generally is oily (combinatio skin). So extra moisturizer was required. Otherwise it looked flaky around my nose and between my eyebrows. As warmer weather is approaching, I don't t think I'll be having as much of a problem with it.

I thought the brush was a little small and not very soft but given its included with the product, its okay. A larger size, softer kobuki brush would work better.

I recommend this product and will be using it this summer.

The first thing I need to say is, if you're looking for a Natural foundation, THIS IS NOT A NATURAL PRODUCT!!! It may have "minerals" in it, but it's still full of chemicals. However, if you use regular drug store products and are ok with that, then this is in the same category.

That being said, I did like this product. I prefer a powder foundation to a liquid one, and this was no different. The coverage isn't as full as with a liquid, but I find it much more natural and wearable. It evens out skin tone and provides a nice finish. A great middle ground between liquid foundation and a regular powder. I even used a smaller brush to touch up a few flaws and found that it worked out nicely.

The best part was that I didn't set it with any powder and yet it stayed looking great throughout the day. Definitely a plus! (I didn't like Maybelline's Healthy Finish Veil as I found it too thick and when applied over makeup made it cakey.)

My only issue is that I'm trying to get rid of all my conventional cosmetics and convert to more natural and healthy products, and this definitely does not qualify as it's full of crap. However, since I have it (and since it works so well) I will probably use it again on the rare occasion when I feel the need for more coverage than usual.

    ** Editor's note **
The Mineral Power products do not claim to be organic, however they are all are preservative-free, talc-free, oil-free and fragrance-free. Mineral Power products are made with natural micro-minerals, and contain vitamin E and Pro-vitamin B5, which protect skin against damage from free-radicals, among other things.

Though I find that foundation really enhances my skin, I hate liquid foundation so I was thrilled to try a powder foundation. I chose natural ivory as my skin is really fair and I was THRILLED by the result! I have oily skin and I found that the powder absorbed the oil in my skin, covered a multitude of faults and gave me an "airbrushed" effect that I loved! The only thing I didn't like was that it did leave a tinkle in my nose (I'm not sure if that was the mineral effects on my skin?).

Overall I loved it and the compliments I got from my colleagues at work were amazing!
