I hated this lip balm. It didn't do anything for my lips, it didn't give me any moisture in them, I would consider it more of a gloss than a balm. The only one of these that I didn't hate was the clear ones. they smell good and they are glossy but they do not moisturize at all. The balms that are coloured are not attractive colours when applied.
Back in the day, when this stuff was brand new, literally every girl at school was smothering this all over their lips so, of course, I decided "hey, what the heck? Might as well give it a whirl." And that is the story of how I completely wasted 4 bucks. Maybelline claims that their Baby Lips balm will moisturize lips for 8 hours and renew them in a week. Maybe I bought I faulty lip balm because I had to reapply it about 4 times within an hour and my lips weren't even that chapped. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, to be honest. My go-to for the past few months has been Soft Lips Vanilla lip balm.
I don't think that these do much of anything. They don't make my lips better, or worse. The color doesn't last long (and many of them don't have a color at all). I suppose that if your lips are really chapped, it's better than not having anything on them, but this would never be my first choice.
I was really happy with this lip product when I first bought it (so happy that I even got it in several different shades) however, after about of a week of using it I found that it was drying out my lips so badly that my lips and the skin around my lips were cracked and peeling. I have never had an issue with a lip product before but I ended up throwing them all out. I would not recommend using this product at all - I was very disappointed that it did the exact opposite of what it was supposed to.
I thought this stuff was horrible. Within five minutes of putting it on I felt I needed to reapply. Was very disappointed.
While I like that it has a little tint/colour, this is just over priced chapstick! It does not provide much moisture and does not keep lips moistured. At $5 at my local pharmacy, I could buy chapstick at the dollar store that would provide just as good results! Save your money and buy something else!
I REALLY wanted to like these......and am so disappointed that I can't say many good things about them. I bought the Cherry and Peppermint flavors. Unlike many others I actually really liked the appearance of the tube. I don't need my lip balm to be "classy"......I prefer the bright, fun coloring. I did really enjoy the flavor and texture of both lip balms. They went on very smoothly and had a beeswax texture. Unfortunately that's about the only positive thing I have to say about these :( They didn't keep my lips all that moisturized and on many occasions I actually thought they made my lips feel tighter/drier. They also definitely didn't last for 8 hours.......not that I expected the lip balm itself to last on my lips for the long, but I expected some feeling of softness or moisture at least. Overall I was pretty disappointed with these.....and will go back to my usual balms that I feel work better and cost less.
I'm always a sucker for packaging and that's what caught my eye with these lip balms..My usual tinted lip balm I use are the burts bees which I love..These however are a big disappointment.I purchased the peach kiss and it was terrible it left a flavor like sickly soap on my lips and a terrible residue. The colors look really pretty in the packaging but really does not tint the lips very well.It also does not moisturize your lips at all and you have to keep applying it.The packaging is really cute that's but all it has going for it.
