Pigmented but TOO PIGMENTED!

I was very confused about this product! When you shake the product it sounds like a spray can ..so I thought I would be spraying product on my brows. However, the applicator is actually a wand that dispenses product onto the brows. Unfortunately when I applied the product on my brows it dispensed WAAAAY too much product ....and my brows looked horrid. Would not recommend.

Wasn’t sure if I liked it

So this new chalk thing I received for free as a product review, I was really unsure if I liked it at first but once I started to get the hang of how to use it it actually turned out to be very helpful In defining my eyebrows. Not sure if I’ll use it all the time because I still like my brow pencils and mascara but it’s good to have on hand if I need it

I probably won't be buying this again.

The colour of this product was great but I'm not a huge fan of how my brows looked. I like my brows to look natural, just a little more filled in because I have very fine hair. This product completely filled in my brows even after wiping some of the product off of the applicator but it was just a little too much for my liking.

A little goes a long way

Was a bit too eager to try this and I guess took a bit too much of the chalk and ended up with a very Ms. stern I look concerned look. Overall I think it can look a bit not natural so for that reason its not one of my favourite new products but it has some potential. I would definitely like to see how a professional majeup artist would go about using it.

Brow product for people on the go

I received the shaping chalk powder from chickadvisor in the shade 130 Deep brown and it's perfect for dark haired gals out there.

This product can take time to get used to but once you get the hang of it it's actually pretty easy to use!! It comes with a flat brush type applicator and it's very helpful especially when you're on the go since you dont need any additional tool to apply it. You can put it on anywhere!! I've tried putting it on while I was in the bus to school and my brows weren't too bad! If you have time to put it on at home, it's best to use a brush and spoolie so you can achieve a much more sharp look if that's what you prefer.

You can use this on it's own or you can put on top of brow pencil and or wax to darken the brows a little bit.

Overall i think the product is worth trying. You can use it whichever way you want to in order to achieve the look you want. may it be bold or natural brows this product will be able to help you out!

Not my favourite

The chalk was ok, not my favourite though. It was a little hard to fill with the brush, so i had to use my own brush. The colour however was a perfect match.

Not for all

I received this product from chickadvisor. I think this product is good for people who doesn't to much hair in their eyebrows because have a small fibers for apply in the eyebrows and looks like hair.

Chalk powder does a great job giving me brows!

If you are a blonde, you probably know that having eyebrows is important. You probably also know that blondes don't always have brows you can see - especially if you are wearing foundation etc!
I normally use a powder to fill in my brows as it's more forgiving than pencils (and its harder to fill them in too dark or too obvious). That's why I was excited to try the Maybelline New York Brow Drama Shaping Chalk Powder. Like the other brow drama products by Maybelline, the brush that came with the shaping chalk powder did have a bit of a learning curve. Once you figured it all out though, you were golden. There were some times where I was still not able to get the precise shape I wanted but I still enjoyed using it and found it to be a good product.

Not for me

didnt enjoy the chalkyness of this product. A lot of the product seemed to just fall on my face and the effect didnt look very good to. I dont think I would purchase

Just isn’t for me

I wear brow product every day, I like a natural brow, so I think this product just isn’t for me. I couldn’t get it to work for me with the applicator it comes with. The only way i could get it to work was by applying it with an angled brow brush. Even then, it took a while for me to achieve the look I wanted. I’m happier using the fibre product or brow pencil (both from Maybelline), but might recommend this to someone who likes a more full-on look.
