Brow Drama Shaping Chalk PowdeR

If you have fine hair and a lot of gap in your brow this stuff is amazing at filling them up and give you a very dramatic brow look. I love this look for the fall. It makes your brow look thick and fuller. The formula is a very easy to work with and I did get some fall out. However you can easily wipe it off or brush it away. #gotitfree

Silky chalk that will soften your brows

This new shaping chalk is great to soften and fill brows in one fell swoop!

The end of the wand is a spongey tip that resembles an eyeshadow sponge. The edge of it is quite thin which makes for precise application to your arch and tail of your brows.

The formula is a soft and velvety texture that goes on nice to fill your brows in softly and subtlety.

The only downside I found with it is that it has quite a bit of fallout. But otherwise it's a great product!

Unique but messy product

Upon opening the package I realized the Shaping Chalk reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Shadow Stylist I used in the past so I knew what to expect once I open the product - it will get messy. Because it's a powdered product from a tube, it's messy to work with and you have to be careful. I say to use this product before applying any other eye makeup product or better yet, apply the shaping chalk first thing before any makeup as the powder can dusts off onto your makeup/clothes.

Application of the product seemed simple and easy to use. I just took the applicator and followed my brow shape. It definitely filled in my brows, creating a bold brow with no harsh edges. The product did stay on my eyebrows throughout the day. The colour does match and can be buildable if I wanted a darker brow. I wouldn't say this is the best product out there due to it's powder fall outs but it's definitely a unique product that does achieve a bold brow look.

Bold brow product

I received this Maybelline product to try and review for free as part of ChickAdvisors Product Review Club. The idea behind the product seems so simple but I found this product very hard to work with. I received the colour Deep Brown which was a good match to my existing eyebrows. This product was very hard to apply. The brush was not user friendly and I ended up with a lot of product all over my fave. Each time I tried to use it, I would either end up washing the brows off, or spend tons of time trying to clean up my brows. If the brush were smaller, it may be easier to work with but for anyone with fair, fine or thin brows, this product will not work for you. I do not think I will be repurchasing this product.

Not a big fan

I received the Maybelline NY Brow Drama Shaping Chalk Powder in Deep Brown (130) for free from the ChickAdvisor review club. I am not a big fan of the applicator. As soon as I apply a bit of product on my brows, there are some fall out. However, once on it isn't that bad to work it. The color payoff and pigmentation is good. I would suggest to pour some product on a small dish and use another makeup brush to apply the product on. Unfortunately, I don't see myself purchasing this product in the future. #gift

This product is so inexpensive and it works great! I love the color and how it looks on my eyebrows! It does leave some clumpy residue if you apply too much but besides that it really is great

This is one of the strangest brow products that I have ever used. I found that it mainly made a mess and I didn't find that it did anything to enhance my brows.
I would much rather use a brow pomade then this powdery mess.

Easily Apply!

Blends very well with your other eyebrow pencil and matches brows well. Will definitely be buying this one in the future! Lasts all day as well! Perfect for a natural look.

Good for colouring in your brows, big applicator

I received this product from ChickAdvisor in return for a review. I received the colour 130 deep brown. When you brush out the product, I think it looks more like a golden, medium brown colour.

I didn't like how the wand was very unprecise. It's like a doe-foot lip gloss applicator. Every time I use it I have to clean up afterwards.

I think this would be good if you have thicker, sparse brows that you just want to fill in quickly. My eyebrows are a little thinner and mostly just need shaped, so I don't think this is the product for me!
