Maybe a little too effective!

I’m not sure if it was just that I had the wrong colour, but this made my brows looks a little too extra! The idea is neat, but this product is not for me

Takes a bit to get used to

I received Maybelline New York Brow Drama Shaping Chalk Powder from ChickAdvisor for review purposes.

I found this trickly to get used to using. The chalk works well, but it wasn't the easiest to learn how to use and apply at first.

Love it

When I first opened this product, I had no idea what to expect. I don't think I even read the packaging. I was fully expecting some sort of liquid stick that would look so fake, but I would try it anyways.

But when I opened the packet, a whole bunch of brown dust fell down on my shirt. That is when I read that it was chalk powder! I'm a lot more careful about opening it now!

I love the chalk consistency of this product because it goes on soft, and looks fairly natural. I would recommend this product.

I absolutely loved this! I was skeptical by the name "chalk" - but there was no need to be. This product blended so well into the brows that is truly looked natural.

The staying power is the best part. It lasted all day AND night!

I will be buying this again - for sure! This is now an everyday staple in my make up bag!

Took a bit but we got there

At first I was really unsure about this product. It is very powdery. Goes on much darker than expected. And it is somewhat hard to work with. However, once I got the hang of it, and a routine down, I actually started I liking it. I'll put it on bare faced to avoid fallout ruining anything else, brush it through after to soften it out a bit, tidy it up with a little concealer, a taadaa. The colour was definitely not "blond" but I made it work (neither am I right now, may hair is purple). I received this free for reviewing purposes.

A little goes a long way

Was a bit too eager to try this and I guess took a bit too much of the chalk and ended up with a very Ms. stern I look concerned look. Overall I think it can look a bit not natural so for that reason its not one of my favourite new products but it has some potential. I would definitely like to see how a professional majeup artist would go about using it.

Brow product for people on the go

I received the shaping chalk powder from chickadvisor in the shade 130 Deep brown and it's perfect for dark haired gals out there.

This product can take time to get used to but once you get the hang of it it's actually pretty easy to use!! It comes with a flat brush type applicator and it's very helpful especially when you're on the go since you dont need any additional tool to apply it. You can put it on anywhere!! I've tried putting it on while I was in the bus to school and my brows weren't too bad! If you have time to put it on at home, it's best to use a brush and spoolie so you can achieve a much more sharp look if that's what you prefer.

You can use this on it's own or you can put on top of brow pencil and or wax to darken the brows a little bit.

Overall i think the product is worth trying. You can use it whichever way you want to in order to achieve the look you want. may it be bold or natural brows this product will be able to help you out!

Not for all

I received this product from chickadvisor. I think this product is good for people who doesn't to much hair in their eyebrows because have a small fibers for apply in the eyebrows and looks like hair.

Chalk powder does a great job giving me brows!

If you are a blonde, you probably know that having eyebrows is important. You probably also know that blondes don't always have brows you can see - especially if you are wearing foundation etc!
I normally use a powder to fill in my brows as it's more forgiving than pencils (and its harder to fill them in too dark or too obvious). That's why I was excited to try the Maybelline New York Brow Drama Shaping Chalk Powder. Like the other brow drama products by Maybelline, the brush that came with the shaping chalk powder did have a bit of a learning curve. Once you figured it all out though, you were golden. There were some times where I was still not able to get the precise shape I wanted but I still enjoyed using it and found it to be a good product.

Just isn’t for me

I wear brow product every day, I like a natural brow, so I think this product just isn’t for me. I couldn’t get it to work for me with the applicator it comes with. The only way i could get it to work was by applying it with an angled brow brush. Even then, it took a while for me to achieve the look I wanted. I’m happier using the fibre product or brow pencil (both from Maybelline), but might recommend this to someone who likes a more full-on look.
