Me and my friend were on a shopping spree last week and I was buying lipsticks. My friend suggested me Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipstick so I bought like 2 colors Summer Sunset, Let Me Pink. What I liked about all of them was that they didn't dry out on the lips and the shade contrasted perfectly with my skin. I loved it and gonna try out more of their shades... Definitely recommend it to everyone..

After i heard a lot of people raving about this lipstick I decided to try it on. It took me approximately half an hour to decide which color to buy because of the verity of color available. So from the pink collection i got:
005 Pink sand: this is a light and bright pink with shimmer and on my lips looks a little bit frosted
015 Born with it: this is a a pale pink with a little bit of shimmer
025 Pink please: this a pale nude pink
From the Nude collection i got: 205 Nearly there: this color is advertised on the Maybelline website but i must say that on my lips it looked totally different. This is a golden brown with a lot of shimmer.

Now what i liked about these lipsticks. First of all I liked all the colors that I got and the packaging. Looks very expensive and I love that the lipsticks goes all the way in the tube so when you put the cap on you are not going to ruin the lipstick.
I loved the smell and the texture is divine very moisturizing creamy and soft. I have dry lips and usually i don’t wear lipsticks because they dry out more but these kept my lips moist. It didn’t crease or bled and it stayed on my lips for about 2-3 hours. I have nothing bad to say about these lipsticks. I am looking forward to try new colors.

I tried "Blushing Brunette" from the brown line. I thought this would be my favourite, but was surprised to find that "Summer Sunset" from the red line, was my favourite. I also tried "Yummy Plummy" from the purple line and "Let Me Pink" from the pink line. The lipstick went on smooth, with no bleeding. It was very creamy which I liked, especially for winter, as my lips are very dry right now. The colours seemed to stay on my lips quite well, almost like a stain, but the creamy part of the lipstick didn't seem to last more than an hour or 2. I tried the lipstick on top of Philosophy's Kiss Me Tonight, and it was really nice. My lips were softer, and it made the colour more muted, and more like a gloss. Overall, I would recommend this new line from Maybelline New York. I like the fact that you can choose something from all of the colour lines and it will look good. The colours I chose were all quite similar, but looked different once I put them on. They are good for blending together to make new colours as well. This is a thick lipstick with a nice shine, and great coverage!

I recieved Boadway Bronze, Pink Peony, Bit of Berry, Perfect Plum.
the broadway bronze and pink peony had a hint of shimmer to them while the other two were more of a matte color. the broadway bronze was my absolute favorite. it was agreat neutral color for me. I find the pink peony a little bright on my ski tone. I loved how smooth it went on and didnt dry out my lips. I also loved the smell of them. I will definatly go and buy more of these colors

Maybelline Color Sensational leaves lips with a creamier feel and comes on 48 shades.
I got to try: Pink Peony, Very Cherry, Red Revival & Are you Red-dy. I guess I wasn't really thinking when I chose 3 or the 4 shades of red but I guess its because my boyfriend hates red lipstick and refuses to let me buy it so I jumped at the opportunity lol Of the 3 red shades, "Are You Red-dy" was my favourite, then "Very Cherry", then "Red Revival" which are in order from lightest to darkest. I found "Red Revival" to be too dark, which doesn't compliment my skin tone. (I'm Asian with tanned skin). Red lipstick always makes a woman feel sexy & stand out - although I don't think it makes your teeth look as white as they should lol I also thought "Pink Peony" was a bit too pink for me. But I did think the quality of these lipsticks were great, they definitely have a creamy texture and moisturized my lips as well. I would definitely recommend this product, it has many different colours to choose from.

So I know my review is a little late, but better late than never. I received Born With It as a natural shade, Coral Crush as something a little more than just natural but not done up, Warm & Cozy as my done up look, and Red Revival when I feel bold. I'll review each lipstick seperately:

Born With It: A very natural shade, Born With It was the first of the four that I tried. It looks great, really close to my own lip colour, so I can wear it everyday.

Coral Crush: This is a fairly bright pink, but I love it. I found out today it looks great when I wear no other make up (absolutely no other makeup, not even mascara). Some people might not like this colour however, but out of the four lipsticks, I think this one lasted the longest.

Warm & Cozy: This was the darkest lipstick I got, and honestly I think I'll only wear this on special events. Luckily the local teen/youth group was holding a semi-formal party that I attended, and everyone was to dress up, so it gave me the perfect opportunity to wear this shade. It's nice, but probably my least favourite, and will deffinitely be the least used of the four lipsticks.

Red Revival: What won't this lipstick do for you? I absolutely LOVE this colour. It's so red, so luscious; with a white dress, any woman could pull off a Marilyn Monroe look. Whenever I feel edgy, daring, sexy or bold, this is deffinitely my go-to lipstick. Honestly, as long as this lipstick is in production, this will be an important staple in my make up collection.

So in conclusion I looooove these lipsticks. A little must-know tip though: before applying, run a soft-medium bristled tooth brush under hot water and lightly scrub lips. Dry, then lightly apply a moisturizing lip balm (I like Nivea). Only after then apply the lipstick. The lipstick and colour will last all day until you a)drink using a straw or b)wipe your mouth. I found that using the above steps before applying the lipstick makes my lips look smoother, fuller and the lipstick will last longer. I deffinitely recommend Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipsticks!

I received 4 of these lipsticks to try out and was happy with all of them! The colors that I tried were Summer Sunset, Let Me Pink, Plum Perfect and Red Revival. What I liked about all of them was that they didn't dry out my lips which is something I have experienced with most lipsticks and lipstains. Also there was no overpowering smell. I loved the design of the tube, very cute, and the overall look to them. The staying power was the best I have seen from a lipstick so far. I reapply after lunch and that's about it! I also found that it was great going over top of a lipchap or conditioner which is awesome.

Individually:

Summer Sunset - this was a very nice natural color for me, for just bumming around the house or running errands when you don't need to look done up but don't want to go plain jane

Let Me Pink - I'm not a pink person but was pleasantly surprised with this one. It actually went with some of my make up for a cuter, softer look. It had really good staying power to.

Plum Perfect - I was so skeptical when I first looked at this color in the tube! I thought there was no way I could ever pull off a plum color with my complexion but it turns out this has been the one I wear most! It's great for a ton of looks and doesn't look over done.

Red Revival - this color is just plain hot!! I feel sexy when I wear this one and its great for this season...Christmas parties, work functions, going for drinks, etc etc. It always received compliments from people.

Overall I'm loving these lipsticks and recommend them to everyone, great price, good quality...awesome shades to choose from!

Overall I like this collection of lipsticks for the following reasons:
-large variety of colours
-the case is very sleek and cool
-they stay on for a fairly long time. For a whole day I re-applied 1-2 times. If I just went out for an evening I probably wouldn't have to reapply.
-some of the colours have a little shimmer to them
-they smell very nice but are not overwhelming
-they don't dry out my lips like some other "long-lasting" lipsticks

The four colours I tried were "Very Cherry", "Coral Crush", "Sweet Nectar" and "Plum Paradise".

"Very Cherry" is very bright red. Brighter than what I'm normally used to. If I need a bright red lipstick I would definitely use this but that's rare for me. It was interesting to try and out of my normal comfort zone which is why I got it.

"Coral Crush" is a weird colour. When I opened up the lipstick case is was an extremely bright pink, almost neon pink. On the website, "Coral Crush" definitely doesn't look this bright, so I recommend definitely looking at the actual shades in a store first before purchasing these lipsticks. But when I received it and tried it, it actually went on more lightly. So I think as long as you don't layer it on too much, it can be a very nice pink.

I like both "Sweet Nectar" and "Plum Paradise". "Sweet Nectar" is normally a colour I'd use and "Plum Paradise" is a bit different for me as I don't wear purple lipsticks but it's not too bright and has a bit of a shimmer to it.

I would definitely buy "Sweet Nectar" and "Plum Paradise" again. I might buy "Coral Crush" again or would consider trying a different pink instead. These are pretty good lipsticks and I like them. For the price of $10 I'd buy them although I might try different shades to shake things up.

I don't know if maybe it was the color that I bought which is called "Nearly There" but it didn't have any staying power for me at all. I had to keep re-applying it which is annoying. The color is pretty. I wish it would stay on longer. If you are looking for neutral or nude colors I would suggest lipsticks from Revlon.

I really liked all 4 colours, but would have to say that get nutty was my favorite. I felt very sexy and womanly when I was wearing this colour.
