Thanks chickadvisor and Maybelline for letting me try this! Once I read the package twice on how to apply I thought I had it down. I had to go back an read the package a few more times to get it just right. I liked the blender. Felt nice on my face and gave a good coverage for my look. I loved the wet the brush tip for the way I like to wear my makeup as it gives a nice light look to my face. The nose part was a little tricky but doable. I would probably just buy a triangle sponge and it'd do t same thing though. The handle was easy to grip. Overall a pretty good experience.

The Dream blender I don't mine it at all it different it could be a little cheaper but I won't be but it for that price it easy that using sponge what I like about it I can sides to blend in a circular motion without getting my hand dirty of foundation .

The sponge was very easy to use and I liked how it had a handle like thing so that my hands did not have to touch the sponge. When using it damp it applied a lot smoother which I liked. The quality seemed a lot more durable than other sponges I have used, it does not seem like it will fall apart easily and was nice and firm.

I tried the Maybelline Dream Blender as a part of a campaign with ChickAdvisor and Maybelline Canada. The Dream Blender sponge is a companion product to Maybelline's Dream Velvet foundation. I found that the sponge worked more effectively when wet, allowing for better blending abilities in applying foundation. I do like the handle on the sponge; good size. Sponge is very soft yet firm. I like the pointy tip that allows for spot application. If you're a person who doesn't like getting procuct on your hands, this is a great tool to use. The Dream Blender sponge is well priced; much cheaper than sponges at beauty stores like Sephora. However quality of the sponge is comparable. I don't think I'd buy one, only because I'm not really liking sponge application- I find either you love them or dislike them based on personal preference. So I will not be buying one for myself, even though I do find it to be effective and good quality compared to others I have tried. Just not my thing I guess.

I like that this blender has a handle so that the makeup doesn't get all over your hands like a traditional beauty sponges do. It's smaller size made it easy to put foundation under the eyes and makes it easier for contouring in sections. The sponge felt soft after wetting and is fairly easy to clean with mild soap and water.

The only thing I noticed is that over time the blender sponge feels like it's coming off of the handle and feels loose. Otherwise it's a nice little compact applicator for foundation and I like it.

It's a good product. I have always used cheap, one-time use blenders from the dollar store. Unlike a lot of application sponges I found that the Dream Blender didn't absorb a lot of the foundation and didn't leave streaks on my skin. I would definitely buy this! The price is little high. I recommand this.

Maybelline New York Dream Blender

This was my first time trying the Dream Blender and I was very excited to do so. It has been years since I had used any sort of applicator to apply my foundation. I used to us those triangle sponges but, I stopped because of the waste.

This Dream Blender comes with a hard plastics handle. I find that it is very easy to hold onto and to control. Well once I got used to using it. My hands a fairly small but, I think people with larger hands my have a difficult time.

I found the top of the blender to be flexible. I love how it comes to a point. It makes applying the foundation to hard to reach areas like the sides nose so much easier.

The Blender comes with instructions that are clear and very easy to understand. I love the diagram.

I did wet and towel dry the blender before I used it. (As suggested)

The dream Blender costs $7.99

I would recommend this for people who don't like to get their fingers dirty. But, I don't think that I'll buy a new one.

If I`m completely honest, I`m not a big fan of sponges to begin with. I feel like they waste quite a bit of product.

That being said, this sponge brush was not terrible. I do wish the brush was longer for women with bigger hands. I feel it absorbed way to much product and left me with a weird feeling on my face after using it. I will probably continue using it for a bit, to see if it is more technique than anything else.

I was looking forward to trying this one as it is smaller and has a handle. I really like using this product. The handle makes it easy to use and gives me a lot of control. I love the precision tip because it gets in all the hard areas like the side of my nose and under my eyes. It is very soft and blends the product (Maybelline dream velvet foundation) perfectly. The one stipulation is that it is not easy to wash. The product does not come out easily and I had to use a lot of face wash and warm water on it. I'm not sure if this is the best way to clean it but I did not see any instructions. I would definitely consider purchasing this item.
