This product was provided from Chick Advisor for review. I received the Dream Blender a little over a week ago to try.

My first impression was the sponge felt quite hard and looked too small to do a quick foundation application.
After wetting the sponge and because of how nonporous it is, it did not absorbed a enough water and did not grow in size like a beauty blender does.

The handle for the Dream Blender was nice to have to avoid putting your fingers all over the sponge applicator, but the sponge itself did not allow for blending the foundation onto the face easily. It took a lot of swipes and circular motions to get the foundation to spread evenly.

One nice thing about the blender is the tip end does allow you to get to the noes and eye area nicely. If the sponge on the handle could be made of better material like the Beauty Blender, and became slightly bigger and softer after wet, it would make for a great tool to use daily.

Unfortunately, this product is a fail as is.

I received the Maybelline Dream Blender from ChickAdvisory.com to review in combination with Maybelline's New York Dream Velvet Foundation. It works much like a wedge sponge but doesn't your foundation doesn't seem to soak into it eating up your product.

Personally, I use makeup brushes to apply my foundation (etc) and will probably continue to do so. However, if youre someone who uses makeup sponge wedges I would suggest switching over to this product. You get a lot more control as the blender is harder then a sponge. The blender is also washable and reusable so you'd save money overall not by being able to disinfect this product unlike the wedge sponge.

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Blender in combo with the Dream Velvet Foundation from Chick Advisor as part of their product review club. I am one of those rare women who have never used a beauty blender before. I am very happy with how easy it is to use, you wet it a bit and then add foundation and very easy to move in a circle motion and apply your foundation. I like the point to use around your nose and your eyes to make sure your make up in perfectly blended. I will continue to use this product.

The Maybelline New York dream blender is so great. I cant live without it since i try it. It make it so easy to apply the foundation and it doesn't take alot of place an the price is worth it. I really recommend it its a must for all woman.

I would use this again. I liked that it blended well and wasn't heavy. I like the shades. I was able to get a good match to my skin tone. The price was good too.

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Blender to try and review for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have to admit that I am generally someone who applies foundation with my finger – only sometimes do I use a brush or make up sponge. So using the Blender was a bit of a challenge for me but once I got into it I did like the look and effect of using the Blender with the foundation.

The Blender worked well and spread the foundation evenly on my skin. I thought that I would have to use more foundation than normal but that wasn’t the cased. The Blender gave my make-up an even balanced look that I quite liked.

I do not know if I would purchase this product again as I found it a bit difficult / time consuming to use and its quite a bit more expensive than a standard make up sponge but I would definitely recommend it to friends who were into the blending make up techniques.

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Blender from ChickAdvisor for review and was very happy with the product. I loved how easily the blender worked with out pulling at my skin. I usually don't wear wet foundation because I don't like the messy application ,having to use my finger tips. I loved that the dream blender avoided the messy application of foundations. It was very smooth and durable.If I found the blender on sale I would purchase.

I wasn't a fan of this product. After trying other similar products, I was hoping that this one would work better for me but sadly, it didn't. I tried using the product several different ways - dry and after wetting it and squeezing out the access water, but still found it much better to apply foundation using my hands of another one of my brushes. I'm sad to say that I would not purchase this product but I'm happy that Maybelline and Chick Advisor gave me the opportunity to review it for free.

This blender does work really well. I wet the applicator as directed and towel dried. I found that it was especially effective in those difficult areas around your nose and mouth. I did try the foundation with a regular foundation brush as well, and I found that I did like that better than using the blender. However, if you are one of those people who are still putting on your foundation with your fingers, this is a MUST try! I am really pleased to have had the opportunity to test this product and I would recommend it to my friends.

I was skeptical at first as i usually use those makeup triangles to apply makeup. Let me say I was pleasantly surprised that this applicator came with the foundation - definitely need both! The applicator works fantastically. It means that I can get into all those creases and helps me apply it evenly and not too heavy. It went on smooth and covered well without looking to 'made-up'. I was happy to see that it didn't accentuate my forehead lines and left me looking natural but covering those blemishes and redness my skin has. The applicator helped the foundation stay where it needed to be. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future!
