I did not like this blender for foundation application. It absorbed quite a bit of foundation. Its stiffness and high density does not allow for a lot of bouncing around on the face. However, I do love its size and shape. Rather than using it for foundation, I found that it is perfect for blending out concealer in the under eye area. Its pointed tip is able to reach the inner corners of the eye, which the beauty blender is not able to do. Overall, I will be using it for concealer but not foundation!

I love this sponge! It really helps to smooth my foundation onto my face. I found that this sponge really helped to get those spots that a normal sponge doesn't quite yet. The handle is also nice and prevents a person from getting foundation on their hands.

I love to use my hands to apply most makeup, but their is something about specific tools like this one to be able to get those places on your face where a traditional brush just overlooks. Love the way this blender is formulated latex free, and i really enjoy that you can use this more than once without hassle. This blender is easy to throw in your makeup bag and use when you are in a pinch for time. This makes life hassle free

I was quite excited to try this product for free through ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. I always use my fingers to blend in my foundation, am not fond of brushes, and never yet tried a sponge. Like others, I found that this sponge is very dense! I tried the blender both wet, and dry -- I found that the sponge soaks up a lot of the product when it is dry. As I need at least medium coverage, I never expected to use it wet (it is supposed to create light coverage), but I prefer it. I think while wet, it blends the product better.

This sponge, as a whole, does not blend foundation very well. I tried it with both my usual liquid foundation, and the accompanying Maybelline Velvet foundation. I didn't prefer it with either product. It does not blend any better than my fingers are able to do. What I do enjoy about this product is its tear-drop shape. The benefit is that it's able to apply foundation in areas difficult to reach -- around the nose and in my under eye area.

Overall, I would recommend this product, but not for what it's meant to do. I think it's worth it to use for under eye concealer and to apply product in areas that sometimes are missed. As a face blender it's just too dense and frankly too small. I think if the sponge was less dense and without a handle, it would be much more effective.

The Dream Blender was great to use with the Dream Velvet Foundation.

It took a little getting used to, but I found it easy to work with once I got the hang of it.
I do find you need to work quickly, though, as the foundation seems to dry fast.

I do think the price is decent, and it does the job!

Je voulais depuis longtemps tester ce genre d'éponge pour l'application de mon fond de teint. J'étais si heureuse de pouvoir tester l'éponge dream blender. L'éponge permet, une fois mouillée, d'avoir une application du fond de teint d'aspect naturel. Par contre sa manipluation n'est pas optimale, L'éponge bouge beaucoup au bout du manche et je dois la tenir entre mon pouce et mon index pour un meilleur application. J,aurais apprécié une éponge un peu plus grosse et sans manche.

I received the Dream Velvet Foundation through the ChickAdvisor Product review club for free. I love the blender and the foundation is very light and hydrating. It has a light coverage and it gives me a beautiful finish after I applied it. Overall it's a great product!

I was fortunate to get this product with a Chickadvisor campaign for free. I think the blender is of a great quality but in all honesty I am not using it as much as I thought I would, I get a lot faster results using just my fingers. I also thought the blender soaks up a little too much of the makeup. With that being said my skin is fairly even as it is, and I suspect if you need more precision for application of makeup to certain spots due to uneven skin, this would be a great helper.

I heard from a few reviews that people find this applicator too hard. I wetted and towel dried the applicator and it worked beautifully with the foundation. It feels firm, but that doesn't lessens its effectiveness. I found that combining circular motions AND dabbing motions works better than just using circular motions when applying. Also, I put the foundation directly on the face, not on the sponge. This way, the sponge doesn't soak up too much foundation. Overall, I love this applicator, blended the foundation beautifully, and it is a great price as well.
