I did not enjoy this sponge at all, I was thinking it was going to be similar to the beauty blender sponge but it is not similar at all. It left my foundation patchy and streaky, it works okay for the under eye because of its shape and small size but I do not recommend purchasing this.
I do not like this sponge at all. I felt like it was too hard to work with and it removed more makeup that it put on. I tried wetting it too to see if it would make a difference but it didnt. I now use this for putting powder under my eyes as a setting but will continue to use the beauty blender instead.
I don't like this product. fell victim to the gimmik the sponge is small. I find not much difference from blending with my fingers. wouldnt recommend this product
Was not a fan of the blender. It left lines on my face and it soaked up all of the make up. It was hard to use, i wont use it again ill stick to my sponges!
Seeing how it's supposed to be a blender for your foundation, I think it's absolutely horrible. Way too hard and it just doesn't do the job. However, use it to blend out your concealer and it's actually workable.
Not a fan of this sponge like applicator. Especially because this comes with a handle, I feel like it was difficult to use and be precise with. It would blend out the foundation on one spot then dry out before you can blend out to the rest of your face. Even using dampened the result was the same. Seems like a hassle to use when a brush is more practical.
Sometimes I feel like drugstore brands release products to mimic products that are trending. Sometimes these beauty products are a little gimmicky. This is how I feel about the Dream Blender. While I can't confirm that the Dream Blender is suppose to mimic the Beauty Blender, I can say for certain that the two are incomparable. I use my Beauty Blender by I soaking it under running water and squeezing out the excess water. It expands to double the size and blends makeup like a dream. Unfortunately, when I soak the dream blender under running water as directed, water does not absorb into the hard sponge. When it does, it sits just under the surface, and does nothing in making the sponge softer. While I like the handle, it makes no difference in the application process. The most important part of this product - the sponge itself - is hard and stiff. I don't feel like it truly is blending the makeup into my skin. Rather, while I'm patting the makeup with the sponge, it seems to just sit on the surface of my skin or absorb into the sponge. The shape seems to be a great size for blending under the eyes, but again, it didn't do a good job blending out my concealer. Overall, I did not like the product, nor do I recommend it. I think cosmetic wedges do a better job at blending out makeup.
I was so glad to get chosen to review this and the foundation! I didnt like the blender at all:( I love that the drugstore is coming out with all these new products, unfortunatly some just dont compare to the good ones!! The sponge is too hard!! Thankful for the oppertunity but wouldnt reccomend!!
I didn't like the dream blender at all! I felt like the brush only spread the product instead of blending it in my skin. I usually spray water on my beauty blender (which is also a sponge), but when I tried spraying water on this dream blender, the sponge didn't absord any water and it felt really stiff. The price isn't bad at all, but I'd rather use my usual brush or even my fingers! I would not buy it again and I don't recommend it. It's not worth it!
