It's a great product. Applies evenly and lasts. I love maybe line products
This beautiful pink cream blush is easy to apply and with no need of a blush brush. It last all day long and has a very natural look.
I went to Shoppers Drug Mart looking for a Benetint blush, but wasn't ready to shell out 25$ so I looked around and found this one on sale for $5. I found the shade I originally had in mind for a blush (coral) and took it home. Well, suffice to say I should have done some research first.
After watching Maybelline's tutorial on how to apply this blush, I tried it, however I used a piece of a Quo makeup sponge, not my finger (I am really keen on NOT touching any of my makeups for contamination reasons, as well as I Hate touching my face because I break out easily) but found that the sponge soaked up most of the color, and the pigment that did make it to my cheek was sort of balled up, as if it had dried out by the time it made it onto my face.
So I bit the bullet, scrubbed my hands and applied by finger. Just touching the pad totally gummed up the moussey formula and the "bounce" didn't, it just sunk.
For me personally (I am light/olivey complexion) I found the sheer pigment was enough as I haven't owned a blush in about a decade, however in future I definitely will be sticking to powder blushes that can be applied with a brush or sponge. This did dry to a nice matte finish, however I have to powder OVER this blush or it looks a bit gummy if you have no time to wait to let it sink in.
The nice thing , is that for wintertime, it gives a nice sunkissed glow to your cheeks.
I didnt expect much from this product anyway, I am of darker complexion and I dont usually wear blush because I'm not too sure what to really choose but i decided to try this one because it was a cream blush. But i didnt like it. Its not that pigmented in my opinion. The product is smooth to the touch but it doesn't transfer well from your fingers or brush onto your face. Maybe for a lighter complexion it might be better.
Let me first start off by saying that I am african american skin color. I wanted to try a cream blush because i figured I wouldnt get that ashy effect from a powder. I bought two of them. One was a darkish pink-red tone and the other a almost orangy-coral. The consistency I think is a little too sheer, barely anything appeared on my skin, and it was farily hard to blend out. May e on a lighter complextion it might work well but for dark skin, you're money is better spent elsewhere.
i love this blush it is so light weight i dont even remember im wearing it , most blush is heavy and i cant wait for the end of the day to wash my face , this stuff is amazing and you dont even need to use that much so talk about getting you moneys worth
I have always been one to use powder blush but it never really stayed on for longer than an hour or two. This cream based blush in Pink Plum is amazing. I just blend it in with my fingers and it stays on the whole day. I would recommend this shade for olive skin toned people as well because it just compliments the darker features so well.
About me: Tan olive skin
Pros: Many colors to choose from. Its very creamy and easy to apply. It's portable, scentless, very cute packaging.
Cons: Doesn't last too long, color not that pigmented, can be easily messy.
I love the blush because it’s easy to build color and the blush is extremely long-wearing. The colors are natural-looking and easy to apply.
