Average price for a decent product. Nice and light, lasts quite a while and covers well. I would recommend, and would likely buy again.
I don't use foundation besides powder, but I thought I would try something new as I have developed a few blemishes, this foundation covered my blemishes without feeling like I had a tonne of makeup on.
This is the only liquid foundation that I have used that did not make me break out. It has great coverage, looks very natural and it lasts all day long. Add a bit of powder on top for an even more flawless look!
I love the lightness of the foundation and the great coverage it gave me. I found I didn't have to reapply most time, a little powder did the trick!
I always recommend using a primer to make your foundation more effective!
Bought this product when it first came out, it sucked. Bought it again because they were upping the advertising, so I figured maybe they changed something in the formula. Not great. It was tolerable, but not the best i've used. Coverage is less than average, it definately does not give me a 'airbrushed' look. Maybe if I was 8 years old. The red flush in my cheeks I get often, was accentuated while I wore this. And the foundation didn't last long. Definately lower on my list of good beauty products.
I bought the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse for the second time (the first time was when it initially came out and I was new to makeup) to make a more accurate opinion on it especially since by skin has changed and here it is. I got this foundation at Shoppers Drug Mart for $14.99 CAN which is pretty expensive since it is a drugstore product. The shade I picked up was the lightest, 'Porcelain Ivory' which is pretty spot on for me. A real pro of the product was that I did notice there were shades in this foundation to match both light and darker skinned girls. The packaging is really cute, compact and convenient. The foundation comes in a little glass container with a pump. Now for the foundation itself, the foundation is medium coverage, has a demi matte finish and is very thick for a liquid product. On Maybelline's website, they claim that this foundation works best on normal skin types and leaves an airbrushed finish. I would say that it absolutely does leave an airbrushed finished but if I have normal skin, this would not be the foundation I would reach for since based on other people's reviews, it did not work well for people with oily, combination or normal skin types. These people said that the foundation did not last long and left them feeling greasy so if you have those skin types- beware. I personally have dry skin so a greasy look or wearing usually has actually never been an issue for me. Also, this product did not break me out at all. I would highly recommend this to anyone with DRY SKIN looking for a drugstore brand foundation.
I would definatly reccomend this to someone without oily skin as it covers very well and does indeed give that airbrush look. However, I had the worst breakouts with this stuff. I loved it but people with oily skin....DON'T USE THIS!!!
