I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor panel. The product is a great go-to for quick and easy foundation cover. My skin was particularly botchy last week because of a medication reaction and this foundation covered the redness beautifully. It did not breakouts (alwasys a good sign), and it covers well. It did look a little bit dry at some points in the day, but a good moisturizer would likely solve this.
Great for combination skin. This product will cake on around the creases of the nose if you have dry skin, so I recommend a little moisturizer if you find that to be a problem.

Overall, ir was a good product.

I thought the product covered really well, but I didn't end up selecting the right colour for my skin so I didn't end up using the free bottle. It would have been nice to receive a coupon to purchase from the store. That being said, it would have been a nice product had it been the correct colour!

i received the maybelline ny dream valvet foundation to try as a chick advisor member so after a few applications i feel it works well and has a medium to full coverage because of its texture doesnt feel heavy on face lasts about the entire day but since its winter therefore i cant be so sure about summer when skin gets a bit oily from all the pollutants looks and makes me feel fresh and i feel confident about my skin no need for retouching it lasts the entire day price point isnt so bad as well comes in a tube therefore no hygiene issues

I like the product. I think it works well, but I think the price is a bit steep for myself. I think there may be other alternatives that work as well, but at a more affordable cost.

This foundation has a creamy consistency and applies as a medium to definitely a full coverage. It really does make your face look flawless and fresh and is very hydrating for dry skin. It has a soft, smooth, hydrating matte texture, with a matte finish. My powder and blush definitely settled very nicely on this foundation, It does keep you hydrated for 12 hours as it claims. It is very affordable to purchase and yet has a high end brand quality, make up look and feel. It applies nice with the beauty blender. I liked this foundation!

I was lucky enough to receive the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation courtesy of Chick Advisor. Unfortunately I picked out a shade that is slightly darker for my skintone but wow this foundation is amazing! It goes on smooth and blends out like a dream without any effort! Definitely going to be using this in the summer time when I'm more tanned. Even though I applied a thin layer of the product it was medium coverage but can be built up for a fuller coverage. You do however need to set this foundation with a powder in order for it to last all day so keep that in mind.

Thanks to ChickAdvisors Review Club I got to try this product for free. I liked the packaging first off. Nice to have a tube rather than a jar like container. I found the formula smoothed on my skin very nicely and evenly. The blender sponge worked awesome for application. The coverage for this foundation I would say is medium to light. I would of liked a bit more coverage. My skin did feel nice and I did enjoy how light it felt on my skin. I would recommend it providing your not looking for heavy coverage.

Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation is a great product. You can give it as a gift, provided you know the shade, and feel proud. I use it daily now.
This it not something for a special occasion, not a luxe product. Still, the quality is great. The texture is non-greasy, but hydrating. People with normal or combination will likely appreciate it. The look of the skin is even and healthy, not even and unreal.
The promo claims that the foundation stays for 12 hours. I was never sure about such durability. I would say 8 to 10 hours is the maximum. However, this may vary depending on the temperature you reside in.
Overall, a good product that looks nice. Go ahead and use it for a day outside when making pictures of yourself or employ it before heading to work.

LOVE THIS!! I will definitely be using Maybelline New York Velvet Foundation as my going to foundation from here on it. It is easy to apply and blends well into the skin. Provides a smooth base for my daily makeup application. I trust the brand Maybelline, but haven't used a foundation product from them and am very pleased I was able to try one free from Chickadvisor.

I really enjoy using this product. It has a mousse like consistency that feels light on my skin. As advertised, it has a soft, velvet like texture with a matte finish. It provided enough moisture as to ensure that my skin did not dry out, but it definitely does not contain enough moisture to replace a daily facial moisturizer. It has a nice light scent that is not to chemically or fake smelling. The product was a great match for my skin and blended very well. I had no problems with lines or caking in creases. A small dab was all I needed to cover my entire face. I was very surprised with how matte the finish was for it being considered a liquid foundation. Probably one of the best finishes I have experienced yet in a liquid foundation. It provides light to medium coverage of the skin so it is perfect for everyday use and evening out skin tones. This definitely would be a great replacement for my current liquid foundation. My biggest concern is that it is quite a small tube for the price. I feel that with daily use the tube wouldn't last me more than a month and the price is on the higher end for a drugstore foundation. Overall, I do really like this product and will more than likely continue to use it and purchase it (hopefully on sale!) in the future. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new light-medium coverage foundation.
