I should of asked for a shade darker, it is a tad too pale for me. Goes on good and looks very natural. A little quantity goes a long way. Doesn't make my face shiny nor dry it out. More expensive then the one I usually use but would probably consider buying it since I like the result it gives.

I used this foundation with both a beauty blender and a brush. I noticed that you get more coverage with the brush. It it is medium coverage and it did start breaking up around my nose about 5 hrs after I applied it. It didn't really bother me & it has no scent which I love. It does feel thick when you're applying, but once it's on the skin it doesn't feel like anything. It also doesn't cling to any dry patches on my skin which a lot of foundations tend to do.

I am a big fan of the Maybelline Dream products - the Dream Fresh BB Cream is my go to face product. I am not much of a foundation person, but when the opportunity to test the Dream Velvet, I thought I'd try. I was intrigued by how light and airy it was claiming to be - that is appealing to me because I hate my face feeling weighed down.

I got the foundation in colour 15, which was a perfect match. It goes on really nicely using the Dream Blender, but I still prefer my fingers to a sponge. It gives nice coverage, and could be buildable. However, the matte doesn't last at all. Less than 3 hours after I put it on, my face has shine to it - even after brushing my face with finishing powder after putting the foundation on. I can't imagine how it would be in the summer.

The shade I received wasn't the best match for my skin, even though it is what I normally use in other brands.
I would have liked a shade lighter, I think.
It goes on really smooth. I wet my blender a little so it doesn't go on too heavy.
Even though the shade is off, it blends really well on to my skin, so I'm likely the only person that notices.
I really like that it doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy and cakey, and just enough of my skin shows through.

I really liked Maybelline New York Dream Velvet foundation. The soft mattening effect on the skin but it does not have a drying effect. I liked how it was light weight and hydrating. I like a natural look of a foundation and this is really nice, not cakey at all. The dream blender works great. Gets the foundation filling into the pores and the foundation goes lightly and evenly on skin. Overall great product!

I really enjoyed this product. I didn't know what to expect when I first tried it but it goes on well and is soft and silky on your skin. My skin still feels amazing after 12 hours of wear. This makes the current product that I am using feel oily/greasy in comparison. I would purchase this product again and I would recommend it to family and friends as well!

Awesome product! This foundation really is velvety smooth and leaves my skin looking flawless. I got the lightest shade 05 and it's perfect for my porcelain skin.

Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to try Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation. ..I did like the foundation it'self was smooth and matte. However I received the wrong colour for my skin tone. So it went in orange and showed my blemishes or the patches of dry skin went orange too. So I will try it again but a different tone

When I opened the tube I found that the foundation did not have an unpleasant scent. It also had the ideal medium thick consistency that is perfect for evenly covering your skin. The rich, lightweight pigment in the foundation coated the surface of my skin evenly. I did not need a large amount of foundation to achieve a flawless matte finish. I can honestly say that it feels like I’m not even wearing foundation. The formula offers complete coverage that spreads quickly over your skin and stays in place. My skin immediately felt hydrated by the cool foundation. I appreciate the added hydration; especially with the brutally cold winter we’ve had. Not only did my skin have a professional looking finish but it felt soft and smooth. I was impressed by how easy it was to use the #MaybellineDreamVelvet foundation and how effortless it was to achieve a velvety finish. I will certainly keep using this fabulous, hydrating foundation that helps you look and feel beautiful.

Absolutely loved this product. Works very well and feels amazing on my skin and ut didn't make me break out like most foundations i have tried. Highly recommend this product
