Maybelline Dream velvet foundation does an awesome job at camouflaging skin imperfections. I find however that it is slightly thick- just a bit smoother would be a benefit. A little dab goes a long way, which is great!
I enjoy the soft and satin matte finish as it does not result in an oily appearance. My makeup lasted longer and found that I did not need that extra touch up during the day.

It had an easy application, great coverage that lasted through the day and was not drying at all. It ore nicely through the day and left my face covered and glowing. Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation is an innovative gel-whipped technology that offers lasting hydration & a soft-matte finish. It claims to be medium coverage but I think it could be used without concealer for full coverage. I found the perfect shade for my skin tone. The gel-whipped formula is a new experience for me but once the makeup is set it leaves a flawless finish. Plus, read my review of the Dream Blender Special Companion Product. It's a miracle foundation blending sponge that can offer lighter coverage when wet.

This make up had great coverage and blended well. I loved how it felt on my face and didn't look caked on my face looked fresh. I usually have issues with make up sticking to dry patches on my face this did not it was a great product

I struggle with finding the right foundation with the right amount of coverage and the right formula for my combination skin. I dont like to touch up foundation through out the day so this one has to last for me. I put this on before work on a morning and this stays on all day, amazing!!

I received the foundation as a part of the product review club. I was very surprised that it covered my discoloured spots on my cheek well and left my skin smooth. I wore the foundation from 7 am to 7 pm without having to reapply throughout the day which I do with my other foundations. I also enjoyed the fresh mild scent. I'm prone to acne breakout once in a while and this did not give me any breakouts at all and I'm thrilled about it ! I will def encourage my friends and family to purchase this product as it has worked well for me.

I haven't made it apart of my regular every day makeup routine but I like this foundation. A little goes a long way. My face stayed matte all day. The color blended nicely with my skin. I have only worn it a couple times but it'll be great for the summer.

the best foundation i have ever tried, usually i wear my mac foundation but this maybelline one is the best for my dry skin. it stayed on all day and didn't need to retouch with any powder! it velvet texture didn't make my face caked at all but my face looked really nice and flawless! i love it and can't wait to buy another one for my upcoming trip :).

I think it would work better on someone who has normal to dry skin because it stayed nicely in most areas but slid off my t-zone. I love the formula and that it leaves your skin dry, not wet like some other formulas where you need a powder to set. The colour was better than expected, might work better with a primer underneath.

I really needed to try this out since everyone's been talking about it! It leaves behind a beautiful, natural looking mattifying finish without looking cakey and flakey. I find you need to put more than one layer in order for it to be full coverage.
