I was very excited to be chosen to try this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have a combination skin with some dark spots. I received #40 Nude to try on. I found this foundation to be really nice feeling, light,covers well, sets quickly and looks very natural.I applied this foundation onto the Dream Blender and used sides to blend in a circular motion on my face and use the tip to help to reach my under eyes. I would use 2 layers. I got a fully coverage look after that. I really like this product. I feel lovely!

I am so glad I selected the right shade for winter. My skin shades change depending on if it's winter or summer...but summer time I usually need a darker shade.

This product is surprisingly good for the price......especially since normally my foundation is 3x more expensive at the department store. It isn't greasy....nice light coverage so while some freckles still show through...it smooths the skin enough to make it look like I have a clearer complexion. And it pretty much lasts all day.

I like it! It would love it even more if they made one with SPF so I wouldn't need to put on an SPF moisturizer prior to this....but it's pretty great as it is.

For a drug store brand this stuff is pretty amazing! It blended nicely, and was smooth with good coverage. It didn't make my skin look dry lik other matte ones do. I really actual loved this product! I think this will be my new fave!!

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was really happy with this product. My face is combo to oil so it is important to have matte foundation. I tried this foundation without my usual matte primer and me face still stayed matte! Powder touch ups were needed after about 6 hrs. The coverage is about light to medium. I dont have problem skin so I wasn't able to tell how well it covered blemishes. It looked light on my skin and was very smooth. Very happy with this product and I would recommend it to a friend!

I had the opportunity to try Maybelline's New York Dream Velvet Foundation. I wear foundation everyday and have been using it for almost 2 weeks now each day and I LOVE it. My main reason being is the color matched my skin tone! Normally this time of year (dead of winter on the East Coast of Canada) there isn't a foundation that that is pale enough for my skin so I often look like I've smeared tanner on my face especially where my jaw line is. This matches perfectly! Not too mention it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing any face make up because it's so nice and light. The cost is a little high - especially considering the tube is fairly small, but that being said you don't need a lot so I think it may balance itself out with price and longevity. I will certainly be switching to this if even at least for the winter.

I love how this foundation feels on my face, it goes on smooth and looks natural when applied with the Maybelline Dream Blender. I found the color to be a bit too dark for my skin tone but I am fairly pale so I kind of expected that. I recieved the Warm Porcelain shade. If they came out with a lighter shade I would definitely purchase this foundation. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't as fair skinned as I am because it works well and I think it's fairly priced for the quality.

I bought this product because I am a huge fan of mousse foundations. Since I have large pores on my cheeks, this product glides over the pores to make my skin look flawless. Love the texture even though it can be a bit patchy. Always remember to thoroughly blend this foundation into your skin.

I recently had the opportunity to try Mabelline's Dream Velvet Foundation for free through the Product Review Club. I am sooooo happy I had the chance to try this product because I'm positive it is my new favorite piece of make up! I typically use a pressed powder foundation so I was skeptical using a liquid foundation. Howecer, this liquid foundation exceeded my hopes.

It is so light that it feels as though I'm wearing nothing at all. It was very easy to blend into my skin, and didnt't look like I was wearing a mask. I only needed to use a very small amount to cover my face so even though it is a bit more money than I would typically spend on foundation, I know it will go a long way.

I will definitely be purchasing this product again and will be recommending it to all of my friends as well!

i have been looking and looking for a great foundation... at last i find one my search is over... this dream velvet foundation gives me everything i need !!! great coverage hydrates my skin lasts all day long .. 12 hours of soft velvety smooth even toned looking skin.. i love it .. its super easy to apply with the dream blender .this absorbs fast and evenly and has a mild fresh scent!!! i am buying one shade darker as summer nears!! i also told my daughter all about it and now she is going to but it too!!! thanks for the opportunity to try and review this awesome product!!

i have combination skin, its pretty matte but for it doenst last too long cuz my skin is on the oiler side
but it leaves a nice finish
