I was just running out of my HG Revlon Whipped foundation when I received this to try and will definitely not be going back to the Revlon one! This foundation is super similar but way more light weight and you definitely don't need a lot of product. A little goes a very long way. It blends into the face beautifully and wears well throughout the day and didn't over-accentuate my oily skin or pores.

I was very excited to try the product and I have to say im not disappointed in it!
Its thicker than i thought it would be, but it actually blends in very nicely, doesnt feel heavy and gives smooth and flawless finish/look. Is not oily, nor it dries the skin (i was really concerned about that, seeing how thick it is).
Gives from medium to full coverage.
You will be needing very little of product for it to work its miracles. Nice little tube will last a while and can be carried on a go even in smallest purse :)

The moment i received this the mail, i knew i had to try it out right then and there and so i did.
My personal opinion in both the foundation and blender are as follows:

-I chose Natural Beige as my shade as that is my normal shade whenever i purchase anything from Maybelline, but for some reason it comes out Fair to the skin it comes out lighter than what other Maybellinf foundation of the same shade. I let it set for a few mins and still the same so i just went ahead and finished the rest of my face and try to not look like im a ghost.

-I applied the foundation using the Blender that came with it and i did not like it all. I tried to wet it but its just so stiff and not very ergonomic to use so not even halfway through my application i gave up and just used my own beauty blender. Its the handle tht makes it awkward to use and the stiffness of the blender.

-It somewhat does not live up to what it claims to be. its suppose to be hyrdating but it gave me dry spots .

-It does give a nice coverage buildable i would say but if you're gonna purchase this buy a shade darker.

Conclusion:
I will not buy this foundation again and specially not the blender . I did not like how it comes on FAIR as suppose to just Natural Beige. Its not as Hydrating. The Blender is horrible.

Love this product! Love the consistency, and the coverage. I found the color a bit darker then products I have previously used, but that is easally remedied by choosing a lighter colour! Thanks again to Chick Advisor for the sample! Loved it and I will continue to use it!

The foundation went on smoothly and felt like, velvet. The color matched my skin tone and I couldn't tell that I was wearing it. I would purchase it and tell my friends about it.

I received this product along with the blender sponge, as part of the Product Review Club. I am not normally a foundation fan, but this one changed my mind. It goes on smotth and dries smooth, no lines and doesnt look like putty! It also moisturizes like promised. I would definitely purchase this is the future

I received Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation through ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

I don't change my makeup often because as someone who is very fair-skinned, it's difficult to find a good colour match. I usually end up with the dreaded line on the neck where my foundation meets my day-glow skin, or with skin so white I might as well have used baby powder.

When I first squirted some of the colour I was trying (Porcelain Ivory) onto my makeup sponge I thought it looked really dark for me. When I actually applied it; however, it went on smoothly and blended seamlessly into my skin. The coverage was great and long-lasting

I'll be buying this once this tube is finished.

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation in honey beige and the Maybelline New York Dream Blender from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. I must say, I was a little skeptical about this foundation at first. I’ve never been blown away by a Maybelline product so I didn’t know what to expect. After using this foundation for one week I am pretty confident that I would purchase this again. I normally use a beauty blender to apply my foundation so the light, whipped formula of this one made it even smoother to apply. It doesn’t even feel like I am wearing any make up at all. I tend to have a shiny t-zone so halfway through the day I have to blot, but other than it stays nicely on my face. Bonus, the squeeze tube is great (and unbreakable!). Quite impressed!

I received this several days ago through the Product Review Club. I selected "Classic Ivory" in the hope that it would match my skin colour. Happily, "Classic Ivory" is the perfect colour for me. The foundation applies like a liquid/mousse foundation should covering all the little crevices and evening out skin tone and texture. The beauty of this product is that it is a two in one - it is both a liquid foundation and a finishing powder at the same time. When the product dries on the skin it remains like a powder keeping skin matte. It also kept my skin hydrated through the heat and dryness of a winter spent indoors. I will continue using this product as a foundation when I feel I need significant coverage.
