Has an excellent, smooth finish. Blends in beautifully & doesn't sit on top of your face or look caked on! The price was very reasonable; you definitely get your moneys worth with this product!

I recently tried maybellines dream velvet foundation accompanied by the dream blender. I get very dry skin in the winter and was pleasantly surprised to find that it served as a great moisturizer. It stands true to its claim, definitely hydrates the skin. I also found the coverage to be very good. Not as great for hiding smile lines as other brands that Ive tried but still very good. Over all, I give this product a thumbs up!

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation and the Maybelline New York Dream Blender as a tester of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. I loved the foundation very much, it was very easy to apply. The texture was very smooth and velvety just like its name. I also liked dream blender very much as I don't have to get my hands messy and it made applying around the nose and eye area easier than I thought it would be. The only issue that I experienced was that the shade that I had chosen was a little off for my skin color. So I am definitely heading to the store to try on a different shade. I am absolutely recommending it to my friends.

My skin is completly change ! i have the same color and feeling. It is a very good price for the quality of this product. And it is natural, there is not lot of chimical product.

I haven't used a #liquidFoundation in a long time because they tend to be messy and too watery, not enough coverage. This #Maybelline #NewYork #DreamVelvetFoundation was NOT any of the above! It came in an easy to use non messy tube, the consistency was perfect without using a wet sponge, and the coverage was amazing, it hid all of my skin inconsistencies and sun spots. And the best part was the setting, it was a matte velvet smooth.I didn't have to use a powder to set my look at all! I used this foundation with the #Dreamblender. Maybelline Dream Velvet surprised me at first with it's relatively thick consistency.For some reason I thought (erroneously) that this was a lighter weight foundation (the 'velvet' maybe?) but this is actually a pretty solid medium-weight matte formula. I've spent most of my foundation life with brands that tend to stay on the lighter side of the formula (think tinted moisturizers or BB creams) so I was REALLY IMPRESSED to see how much coverage Dream Velvet could get me while still allowing my skin to breathe

It also absolutely goes on matte, with a really small amount going a REALLY LONG way. I'm definitely going to be recommending this to my friends from now on for a great matte drug-store foundation!

I was recently blessed by @chickadvisor and #maybellinedreamvelvet by being chosen to try their new product called maybelline New York dream foundation free compliments by chick advisor. This foundation was phenomenol. It was so nice and clean. It felt as though I had no make up applied on There was no strong odours and the beautiful matte finish it gave my face was supreme. I will be using this again. The colour match blended in perfectly.

I received the Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation for testing purposes from Chic Advisor. I can't say that I had high hopes. My skin is combination (oily and dry) and I have a tough time finding foundation that goes on and stays on nicely throughout the day. The Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation had me pleasantly surprised. The texture seemed like it was going to be too think and heavy for my skin, but upon application I found it was more like a mousse - think and creamy but light (velvet as the name implies!). I loved the way it felt on my skin. I used he Dream Velvet blender which was an excellent complimentary product for application. After working a busy 8 hours I came home and looked in the mirror and found that my face still looked flawless (which is VERY surprising!!). My skin was hydrated and felt good, even after a long day. I would recommend giving this foundation a go! I will be purchasing again! :)

When I received this foundation, I was pretty stoked. I was running out of my old stuff and I love the opportunity to try new foundations. Despite the many years I've been wearing make up and using foundation, I've never found one that I love SO much to keep buying the same one. BUT that may have just changed ;)

In the past, as a serial foundation tester, I had used Mayablline's Dream Matte Mousse which comes in a pot and you apply with your fingertips. I remember liking the product but like I said, I tend to try things then move on to the next one. Well, Mayabelline's New York Dream Velvet may just make me commit to a foundation. It's a similar consistency to the mousse, but with less mess and for me, more even coverage.

I love that just the right amount seems to come out of the tube and allows me to perfectly blend it. It's feels just a little heavy, but personally I like looking/feeling like I'm actually wearing make up and the thickness means that it conceals nicely, while giving an overall soft blended look. It effortlessness evens out my skin tone and then sets beautifully without looking cakey or shiny. The colour matched perfectly and it went on like a dream (pardon the pun ;)).

I am a notorious 5 minute face girl - I like my makeup to look nice but without taking forever to apply it, so I also love wearing cream blush. This foundation was the perfect based for my blush and helped me blend the two so naturally. This foundation stays put for hours without budging but cleans off at night without much effort.

Overall, I really really liked this foundation and will more than likely buy another tube when this one runs out!

I received a free tube Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation part of ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have been using the Dream Velvet foundation all week to test out how I like this foundation.

Firstly, I really enjoy the packaging of this foundation because I can easily squeeze out how much product I need without making a mess or pouring to much. It has made each time using this foundation so easy. I applied this foundation multiple ways and the way I enjoy applying this foundation is with a flat brush because I get the best coverage and I am able to blend the product out very easily. I do use the Maybelline Dream Blender to blend out around my nose and eye area.

When I apply this foundation it gives me an instant medium coverage to my face, which is really great, and I am also able to layer another coat if I need it. I usually only need one coat of the Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation because it covers all my imperfections easily. The foundation is a matte finish on my face but it still makes my skin look very hydrated. I really like the way it feels on my face and it is not heavy at all. The texture of this foundation is very interesting velvet soft feeling and I believe it is what helps give me great coverage on my face. This foundation lasts all day for me and that is usually around 8 to 12 hours for myself.

I really love this product a lot because of how easy it blends, how light it feels on my face and the coverage it gives. I am enjoying this a lot more than the previous foundation I was using. The Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation really does live up to its product claims!

I have received many compliments so far and I have recommended this product to my family and friends. If you are looking for a matte foundation that doesn’t dry out your face I would highly recommended this product!
