Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation was a product sent to me for free. I'm reviewing this as a member of Chick Advisors product review club. I found this foundation to be OK. It's not the most spectacular foundation out there I've definitely tried and use better. The item is sold for a retail price of $16.99 and contain 1fl oz (30ml). Maybelline labels this is their first gel-whippped foundation that provides a 'soft-matte finish just like velvet'. It does feel nice on my skin and I do like the coverage it's just the right amount without making you look like you're wearing anything at all! I would purchase again in the future if my go to product was not on hand!

I was chosen to review this product for free through ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I had such high hopes for this foundation but it really didn't live up for me. I found it overly thick and difficult to spread. I found that the coverage wasn't all that great, perhaps due to how difficult it was to spread. It did have a nice matte finish once it was on, but I didn't find that it was long lasting.

I am so surprised how much I like this foundation. I received this free from chick advisor to review it. I would totally repurchase this. I like the coverage and you can build it up more if needed. I did not like the dream blender that you can buy from the same company, but i loved using my hands or my beauty blender to apply it to my face. The only downside to this foundation is that it feels very silicone-y, but other than that I really like it.

This foundation has a mousse consistency and pplies as a medium to definitely a full coverage. It made my face look flawless and fresh and was hydrating for my dry skin. It has a soft, smooth, hydrating matte texture, with a matte finish. My powder and blush definitely settled very nicely on this foundation, It does keep you hydrated for 12 hours as it claims. It is very affordable to purchase and yet has a high end brand quality, make up look and feel. It applies nice with the beauty blender. I would recommend this product to all of my friends!

I got to try this from ChickAdvisor review club. I liked it a lot. It dries to a nice matte finish. The blender that it came with works well with the foundation. I will definitely buy this foundation.

@MaybellineCAN #MaybellineDreamVelvet. I have received this new foundation from chickadvisor and I was really happy to try it! The foundation did covered well my skin redness and that's something important for me. It did stayed on all day long but at the end of the day my skin got more dried. To resolve this problem I made sure I applied a layer of hydrating cream before putting the foundation. It was perfect ! I will definitely buy again this product! First picture is nothing on, second is half covered with foundation, 3rd full face covered.

I love Maybelline products and I'm pretty happy with everything with this product, it's smooths, feels amazing, has no smell to it; which is always a plus and the texture is great. I was recommend this product.

I like this Maybelline New York Dream Velvet foundation ,but I do not Love it! I really like how smooth it goes on my face and the lasting hydration it provides. It also makes my face feel really soft and silky,and has a matte finish. But it doesn`t cover my blemishes or pores that great, It has a light coverage. I chose the Ivory color,and do like that color,but it do not cover well enough for me. I like the feel of it on my face, and still wear it for light daily wear.
I would recommend it to anyone to try,but unsure if I would buy it again for myself.

I recently sampled this and it provides beautiful matte coverage that is not drying and gives you as soft airbrushed looking glow. It evens skin tone and has a long wear. It sets perfectly even without a finishing spray.

I love the new Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation. Not only does it go on smooth and leaves a simple, streak-free blanket over my face, it's not heavy so it doesn't clog my pores or make my skin look like I have foundation on. Plus, it doesn't feel like other liquid foundations that go on wet and weigh down your skin. The soft-matte hydrating foundation stays on for a full day and doesn't stain my clothes if I happen to nick my face. Such a great product, the only downfall is the price - about $16.99 - for 30 ml.
