I absolutely will buy this foundation when my trial bottle will be empty. Just felt in love with this product. Effective, smoothness, perfect color...and what about this cute and perfect new dream blender!!! I'm not shy to say that in more than 20 years using foundation, it is, the best one for me ever.

First off I will say that the color match of this was spot on great match. Now the feeling of this when I put it on my face was different, it started off as a whipped mousse like texture then when to a patchy cream or gel feeling. I did not like how this looked on my face but I applied it to see how it would cover up my spots and it did OK. As I applied more or even tried to even out the finish it literally rolled off my face or moved around uncovering my skin below. I was really disappointed at the finish of this and how it worked with my skin. I would not repurchase or recommend based of this I find Maybelline makes other wonderful products but this one for me was not one of them, the formula needs some work,

I've recently switched over to using drugstore foundations, and this is by far the best one I've tried. I wasn't sure I would love it because the formula feels thick, and I didn't necessarily want matte coverage, but I was so pleasantly surprised. It goes on so smoothy and easily, and the coverage is exceptional, without feeling heavy. It's just the right amount of matte, my skin stays flawless ALL day, I'm in love!

A great 2 in one foundation. Good coverage and easy to blend and since it dries matte, there's no need for powder. The colour range is great an will suit many skin tones.
Super easy to apply as well. I will definitely repurchase!

While I would recommend this to others, it wasn't great for my pale skin. I went for porcelain ivory which is my regular shade but it seemed quite dark and orange. It blends out but you definitely need to go to a store and test the colours before buying.
It did however last 8 hours on a test (done at home since it wasn't a great colour match so I wasn't running around or in bad weather) and didn't break up badly on my oily t-zone like many drug store foundations would. It stayed matte for about 3 hours with powder, for me that is pretty normal for a higher end foundation so I give it a thumbs up on that and it blends really well even without the dream sponge.

I received the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation to try. I got the shade warm porcelain. I usually have a hard time finding shades that match my skin. The Warm Porcelain works perfect. It was soft and creamy. It blended nicely with everything, and it didn't leave my skin feeling dry and flaky like some foundations do. It looks natural. I am very impressed with this product. I didn't even need a lot for full coverage. Very happy with this. Great job Maybelline!

The foundation works well. Similar to the fit me but a little less thick. It blends well but it just didn't match my skin perfectly. I think I'll have to mix two different colours. The price could be a little cheaper in reference to the size of the bottle n

I was truly amazed by this foundation. I usually don't wear a lot of foundation because I always feel like it makes me look like I have caked it on or are wearing a mask. The Dream Velvet was soft and went of smooth. There was no streaking and did not look or feel heavy on. I believe I have now found my new foundation for everyday wear!

I really liked the feel of this whipped foundation. It went on easily and left my skin with a smooth, matte finish. It was long lasting too. Even after 8 or 10 hours my skin still had a nice matte finish with no shiny areas.
