I love this foundation! It works perfect with my skin, which at times can be very difficult to make look good! This however, makes it very easy to look good! Thank you Maybelline! A job well done.

I was selected to try the Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. I was super excited to try this foundation, as I was looking for a new one, since the currently Rimmel product I am using is leaving my skin very oily. It came with a blender sponge that I have never seen before, but was excited to try as well. The foundation went on very light and left my skin matte which is great, because I hate having shiny skin. It covered all the little imperfections really well, and my skin looked really even, which I was super happy with. I have been using it now for almost a week, and am extremely happy with the results. It definitely left my skin looking silky and velvety smooth.

I thought the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation was very comfortable much more than before I try with that if I feel that my skin breathe, we really feel it on our skin which I appreciate a lot. It also leaves the skin silky smooth. Well hydrated with a matte finish. I highly recommend it.

When first applying this foundation it looks super thick, but it spreads fairly well on your face. It feels very light and not cakey. However I found the coverage to be very minimal. It covered up some marks on my face, but not the kind of coverage I was hoping for from Maybelline's Dream line. With that said, it does stand up to its "velvet" name and makes your skin super soft and smooth.
When I wear the dream velvet foundation I use it as a base and then apply a bit of the dream matte mousse and it does give me flawless looking skin.
I would probably purchase this again in the summertime for light coverage and buy it if it is on sale. I find the $17 too steep for the small coverage that it provides.

I received this to test recently, and I love it! I will be switching from my regular foundation to this for sure. The coverage if flawless and stays all day.

After finding out I was lucky enough to try out and review Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation I was just so excited. I really liked this foundation, it went on nice and smooth and had great coverage. I applied it in the morning and when I went to wash my face in the evening I still had a nice matte coverage and I didn't need to touch anything up. So I'm definitely pleased with this foundation.

I am disabled and the applicator makes it so easy it apply the foundation. I love the velvet foundation it makes my skin so soft and it stays on all day no touch ups. Don't eyes. pores which is a big thing. I am hooked. Love this foundation and applicator never going back to the other guy thanks for opening up my eyes

Received the foundation and blender to try as a review and we love both products, I don't know that I would purchase the blender on my own when my sponges work just as well but I do love how it works now that I have it! The Foundation is beautiful light and a great quality. It's really quick to apply and isn't too heavy! I would totally purchase it next time! Wonderful product!
