#maybellinedreamvelvet #gotitfree #chickadvisor I was sent this foundation to try from Chick Advisor. I have tried it numerous times with the blender that was also sent to me. I am not a fan of this foundation. I wet the sponge as the product recommended and it does not blend well. I tried to use the foundation with my own foundation brush, and again with just my fingers. It does not blend in well at all. The foundation seems to cake off my skin. It just doesn't do what I want a foundation to do.

I really liked using the velvet foundation it went on and looked really good it blender great with my skin tone. I was very impressed by how it looks on my skin and how it didn't leave my skin feeling irrated or anything. I think it is very expensive for the size that I received I don't think I would ever pay that kind of money for make up. I really did like using it though goes on easy leaves me looking great and easy to remove at the end of my day.

It's not a full coverage foundation, so it didn't really completely cover my freckles, but it did hide it a little and smoothed out the skin. I don't mind if it's doesn't cover all of it, because otherwise I would've found the foundation too heavy. It was quite nice and glided on to a matte finish, it also lasted quite a long time. This is quite good foundation for the price, I usually buy foundations that can cost 2-3x more to get the same effect.....so yay! I may buy this again.

I love this foundation! It was my first time trying it and It was really easy to apply with the beauty blender. The texture is creamy and velvety without being heavy! The colour was perfect and it lasted for hours without creasing or rubbing off. I would definitely recommend!

Since long time I didn't find a foundation that do wonders like this one.
Matt and hydrating (I have dry to normal skin) in the same time, full coverage, non transfer (on clothes or hands), no need to be set with any kind of a setting powder, true color match, a gel moussy texture that ll give you the feeling that you're not even wearing any foundation.. this foundation ll be my foundation for a long time and you should give it a try. . My face was breathing through the foundation and didn't do any reaction to it and last all the day..

Lucky me, I got to try the Maybelline Dream Velvet free from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I selected the Natural Beige shade online and amazingly got a dead-on match to my complexiion. I really liked this one. I'm used to using the Maybelline Fit Me liquid foundation so I'll start off by comparing it to that. So the Fit Me is a liquidy, runny type that is lightweight when applied. This Dream Velvet, like the package says, is "gel-whipped" so it isn't liquid at all it's thick and squeezes out of the container maintaining its shape... if you're a painter the Dream Velvet would be like squeezing out an oil paint while the Fit Me is squeezing out an acrylic paint.

The Dream is thicker when applied on the face as well. If you were to dab on with your finger and blend it gives you a ton of coverage, but if you want to look more natural apply it with the Dream Blender sprayed with a spritz of water. It's like applying a cream foundation in a way, and it blends really well and fast too. It blended into my complexion without streaks or standing out. It wasn't greasy or oily and really was velvet-soft looking on my skin. Completely matte, and not refractory/glowy at all. It absorbed instantly and was a very good base underneath powders. I always put a powder foundation on top as well as blush and bronzer and the Dream worked with them perfectly throughout the day. I didn't experience any dryness, flaking, oil patches, foundation creases, or problems using this product.

I saw it advertised in the Walm-Mart flyer for $13.96, which puts it mid-range in price. It contains the same amount as the Fit Me bottle does so it will last long enough to be worth it. I totally recommend this and would get it myself b/c it's nice to find something that works completely for me without any drawbacks.

I recently got to try this product and was pleasantly surprised how light it felt on my face. It felt light and yet still covered up any redness I had on my face. Nobody was able to tell I was just getting over the flu.

This product offer a very good coverage and I loved the mate finish. Easy to apply with the applicator

I received the opportunity to try this product through ChickAdvisor's product review club. I'm so happy I had the chance to try it because it's a great product. I love the packaging. The product went on smoothly and stayed on throughout the duration of my day. It had good coverage, even better than with my usual product actually. The price is decent and comparable to similar products on the market. This product could easily replace my current product. I will be buying it in the near future and wouldn't hesitate to talk to others about it and recommend it to them.

I love the Dream Velvet Foundation.
For its price point it is a great product, with excellent soft natural looking coverage.
It doesn't last as long as my usual foundation but that is a foundation with 24h coverage.
I found it did wear from my oily zones by the end of the work day.
It covered well and blended well with my concealer product.
I have vitiligo so I use cover Fx to blend out my depigmented areas but then use a foundation overtop for maximum coverage and this worked well.
