I usually use a air brushed foundation. when I was chosen to try maybelline's dream velvet foundation I was excited. it has a creamy feel and a soft finish when applied. I liked the fact that it was light on my face, I like the matte finish makes me feel younger. I would recommend it to friends and family. I have found my new foundation :)

I received the Maybelline New York Dream velvet foundation to try through Chickadvisor. I was curious to test out this new foundation which claimed to be hydrating and leaves you with velvet feel. Putting in the foundation was easy with beauty blender I received to try with the foundation. I found that foundation doesn't make you face feel heavy or dries it out. I'm quite happy and surprised the foundation lasted all day without any touch ups. I usually have to fix my foundation by lunch time. It did a great job hiding my troubles spots and didn't make my face look cakey. I would definitely recommend it to anyone searching for a great foundation.

Absolutely loved the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation! Unlike foundation that I've used in the past, it did not leave my face shiny or greasy. Instead, it blended in perfectly with my skin and looked natural (matte). It also lasted all day and did not leave creases. Absolutely delighted!

I was excited to give this product a try after receiving it from Chick Advisor. I don't usually use foundation because I dislike the thick feeling of the cream, and the feeling of it clogging up my pores. This product does have a lightweight feel to it, and it blends very easily with the dream blender, or with a foundation brush. I little goes a long way with this product. I feel that it is a bit on the pricey side for a drugstore brand foundation, so I'm not sure if I would buy this. I wish it had some SPF in it so that I wouldn't have to also apply that separately in the morning!

I received this foundation from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I chose shade #20 Classic Ivory and it matched my skin tone really well. I usually use Maybelline BB Cream in shade Light/Medium and this was on-par colour wise. I really liked how smoothly it applied and I found it blended really well on my skin (I used the Dream Blender for application.) I would say it was a good medium coverage, which I was happy with. The foundation held fairy well on my skin throughout the day and only caked slightly in my smile lines. I found the caking diminished when I applied a bit of translucent powder over the foundation. I was thoroughly impressed with the Dream Velvet Foundation. I stayed matte all day and still looked good when I got home from work. I would definitely repurchase.

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I received shade #90 Honey Beige which was a little darker for my skin. However, I was really impressed at how well this foundation performed. This foundation not only provides a soft-matte finish but it is also very hydrating which is perfect for this dry, cold season. My face felt soft and smooth to the touch. The gel-whipped consistency gave me a fresh, flawless look while covering up any blemishes or imperfections. It looks very natural and did not cause me to break out. I would definitely purchase this again and I strongly recommend it.

I've receive This from The product review club of Chick Advisor and This is a Great product it has a velvet texture and it s soft on The skin, it give a natural mate finish to The skin without being too mate. I would say that It have a medium coverage that you can build up where you need, The lasting power is amazing after a whole day whearing it, it still almost look like if I just apply it and I tend to become oily in The center of The face through out The day and with This foundation I was way less shiny and almost not shiny at all, but If you have dry skin you will need an intense moisturazer before using This, cause it tend to make my dry patches stand out more. Over all it's a realy Nice foundation

I received this product for free with the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It's a little thicker than the foundation I am currently using, but I still like it. It blends nicely and has a nice matte finish. I've also noticed that my face is less oily after hours of having it on than it tends to be with my other foundation.

I received this as part of the Chickadvisor Review Club in classic ivory (20). The finish of this product really is good and feels comfortable on the skin. However, I don't know if it's just this particular shade...but it has a very strong peachy/pinkish undertone and also seemed to oxidize a little bit. I have normal skin so it wasn't drying or too oily on my skin but if you have extremely dry skin then you may need to use a good moisturizer underneath.
