Very good foundation! The Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation has a whipped, mousse-like texture that feels lighter than a traditional cream foundation, but more substantial than a liquid. Perfect finish light-creamy foundation. I definitely recommend it! Also, I absolutely looove the Dream blender sponge!!

Je ne porte pas souvent de maquillage (pratiquement jamais!), l'une des raisons étant que la plupart des fonds de teint bouche les ports de ma peau déjà à tendance huileuses. Cependant, Maybelline New York Dream Velvet couvre parfaitement ma peau avec légèreté. J'ai même l'impression de ne porter aucun maquillage et ces tres rare ! Je le conseil à toutes qui ont la peau assujetti au imperfection.

This must really be one of those products that you need to try. I have dry skin and other foundations look ashy or unnatural on my face. But this foundation literally blends into my skin and makes me look flawless without looking like I have a mask on. It looks like skin! I LOVE IT and would totally recommend it.

I don't wear makeup very often and I was kinda scared to try this stuff but it works so good, it doesn't come off your face if your brush your fingers against it and it has really good coverage, I didn't even need concealer.

Love the foundation with the dream blender. I think if I had more Maybelline products working together it would work that much better. I would recommend this product. I will buy and use this again, thank you.

It's very scary when you use it as it comes out of the tube an orange colour and I thought it would be that dark on my face, but because it's a mousse forumla it fades out well. It says it's a semi-matte finish and I would agree for the most part, not fully matte but not at all dewy either. My makeup applied beautifully on top and just felt lovely on the skin. Didn't oxidize on me throughout the day and stayed looking fresh and nice. Would highly recommend it to all!

I received this product from Chickadvisor as part as their product review club for free. I will start off with saying there isn't a lot to not like. It is perfect for building to the type of coverage you'd like. This foundation doesn't feel cakey at all, in fact when I was wearing it it didn't feel like I had any on at all. Being winter time, I was afraid of transfer to my coat of scarf but I didn't get any of that at all. I loved the matte finish it has, being oil/combination skin. I also found that I didn't need to blot a lot (maybe once) through out the day. It was very easy to apply, and applied very well. Unfortunately there is only one downside for me, a little only goes a little way. Which is a little unfortunate because for the price bracket that this product is in, it wouldn't be greatly appreciated on the wallet. I still have lots of product in the tube after a week of using so its still in the trail stage, so it might sit on the fence regarding the last statement. I do like the thicker consistency regarding that this is a mousse, makes it mess free regarding application. It is scent free, and has a good range of shades. Overall it is a really good product, it might be a repurchase depending on the life of the product but other than that it is a very good foundation.

I received this foundation gratis from ChickAdvisor. The color match was perfect- not too pink and not too orange. The first time I applied this foundation with the maybelline sponge it came with it was a little streaky, but when I applied it with a damp beauty blender I got beautiful coverage. This foundation dried to a soft matte finish and lasted about 7 hours before I started noticing separation on my oily nose. Overall a very solid product!

Over all, I would absolutely recommend and purchase this foundation again. The high coverage is comparable to my current foundation, which I love. The shade that was sent to me was a little light for my skin, but went in flawlessly and lasted throughout the day. I'm excited to purchase a shade or slightly darker, and I think I'll be hooked.
