When it comes to foundation, I usually stick with high end. I've recently been using the Lancome Miracle Air De Teint, after they discontinued Teint Idole Fresh Wear. I picked up a bottle of Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch foundation on sale for $9 wanting to compare the two.
My results? Almost identical. Application, dry time, coverage. I wasn't able to find an exact match (the Lancome shade I wear is more yellow tones while the Maybelline is more pink toned), but the difference on my face is negligible. If I were to try out a few shades I'm sure I could find a closer match.
I love how lightweight this foundation is - it blends perfectly, and is so thin it feels like you have no makeup on. The coverage is also buildable, though I find that Maybelline Dream Wonder is slightly higher coverage than the Lancome.
A little goes a long way - if you exfoliate regularly, 5 drops will likely be enough. This foundation does cling to dry spots though, and makes them stick out more.
At .45 cents /ml for the Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation, and $1.60/ml for the Lancome, I'll likely be picking up another bottle of the Maybelline when I am through.
Okay so I bought this foundation in nude. And the shading is amazing. Perfect match. Great feel. Very light. Great coverage. I love it. It's a great foundation. I love it all except the dropper that you have to hold vertically to get the foundation on your finger to get on your face. It seems an unnecessary step. I am seriously considering cutting or prying it off. I can't stand it. It goes on perfect with a makeup sponge. The "dropper" is completely unnecessary. The texture and lightness are perfect and for that I will definitely buy this (and destroy the "dropper")
hands down best foundation I have ever used. For a drugstore foundation I am shocked - it's amazing. great coverage, easy to apply, and lasts all day!
If you want cake foundation then this is your go-to drugstore foundation. It takes several coats and you end up looking like you are wearing an extra layer of dried skin (even with the application of moisturizer and primer). I was trying to get a quick replacement for my high end foundation. This foundation was so bad that I ran to Sephora. In the end I ended up returning the drugstore foundation, ditching my go-to foundation, and getting a better (yet pricier) foundation that I now love. Pass on this foundation. There are better drugstore brands than this.
I really love this foundation because it makes my skin look flawless and it blends extremely well.
