Fortunately, i was able to receive this product to review. the best part? i was sent the palette that i wanted to purchase! i received palette #80 - Pink Persuasion

overall, the product is layed out in a way so you can use it left to right; lightest to darkest. which is great especially for those who are first timers to eyeshadow.

as for the colour, i noticed that it's not as pigmented as the Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadows, nor was it as smooth. it could possible be due to the sparkles in the EyeStudio shadows. however, i used MAC Mixing Medium on my other lid before applying the shadow and it made the colour more pigmented. so i would recommend using some sort of eye primer with it to get the full colour.

originally, i wanted to do a dramatic look. but since the colours weren't as pigmented as i hoped it to be, it came out very subtle and romantic like. perfect for bridal makeup.

a few of my classmates commented on my makeup and how it's a nice subtle look. but i never wear eyeshadow to school, so it's pretty new to them.

what i love the most about this palette is that you can use the black as a eye liner, so it's a all-in-pne compact!

I recently received my Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Plush Silk eyeshadow quad palettes in the mail (courtesy of Chick Advisor) and tried it immediately. I received 'Pink Persuasion' and 'Mad for Mauve'. They are so smooth; unbelievable; they glide on so nicely! And the colour is so rich, no matter which palette you choose. The "pink Persuasion' palette is quite shimmery; fantastic!!! It's nice to have 4 colours instead of the usual 2 or 3. The containers are very attractive too. I noticed on the back of the container that it's opthalmologist tested and it's safe for contact lens wears, and did I mention it's made in Canada? I wasn't a Maybelline user before, but that's all changed now. Love it!!

Oh my goodness! I LOVE this product.

I received this product yesterday and immediately grabbed my sister so that we could check these out! I have received the 'Mad for Mauve' and 'Pink Persuasion'. I really like how smoothly they apply to my eye lids and the sparkles in them are really nice. I wasn't too sure how much I would like the sparkles, but I really do like it! Super cute! I have already told a couple friends and in fact one friend of mine has already bought the blue one and loves it.
