I own this and MAC's fluidline but I will say this is a very good comparable drugstore. It's richly pigmented (at least the black is) and goes on smooth, doesn't smudge too much and the brush is actually great! I still use the brush that came with this for my MAC fluidline. Def. recommend this for those who don't want to spend the extra bucks on fluidline (I've seen it on sale for $8 even)

This eyeliner is perfect for those of us not blessed with a steady hand. The brush follows a straight line almost naturally. I was able to complete VARIOUS looks with this same eyeliner and every time I hear someone wanting to try something new this is what I suggest. It is much less messy than the regular liquid eyeliners, and you can blink after applying without the smudge factor!

From a straight line of eyeliner, or creating a leopard print make up pattern using this eyeliner, it has never let me down!

I really liked this liner a lot. I normally find liners fade or crease in my eye lid, and thats even when I use a good primer.

This sticks all day, washes off easily and you have a lot of control with the brush. The regular price is not crazy, but I waited for a sale.

I tried out the eggplant color. I apply one layer, do my other eye, then go back to the first for a more vibrant color.
Definitely recommend!

I read many reviews and bought right away! the eyeliner is better than my others eyeliners that i tried. It's long lasting et doesn't smudge if you use the eye primer. Even the pot look small, i don't use a lot. It is easily to blend. I am very happy about the product!

Normally I am very cost-conscious, but I would pay every penny for this eyeliner. This is longer lasting than my other liners. I have brown eyes, so I use the brown one to make my eyes pop.

this product is amazing! i always use gel eyeliner for my waterline, and i have tried the bobbi brown gel eyeliner and i seem to keep coming back to this one. it applies just as well as the bobbi brown one, it doesn't dry up (at least not fast, it didn't dry up on me, but depends on how much you use it or don't use it). it's a great product not only because of it's quality but the price is super affordable considering the product can be compared to eye end gel liners! :) definitely worth getting!

I purchased this eyeliner one day in the purple colour, when I was out of town and forgot my regular Bobbi Brown gel liner at home.
I purchased this on a whim, thinking "ooh, purple colour, it looks dark and nice"
nope nope nope!

I found this gel to lack pigmentation, and when I applied it onto my lids, it took several layers until you could see the purple line.
This product also smudges easily and I get the feeling that it's more of a fluid than a gel when ti goes on my lids.

I did love the brush however, and have been using it for my Bobbi Brown gel liner...it's very smooth, and since I love light, thin brushes, i fell in love with it immediately.

All in all, i would say the price was worth it (for the brush)
i may want to use this liner as a gel eyeshadow one day, and kind of smudge it all over my lids. Since I have no crease on my eyelid, I don't think i'll have to worry about it creasing or falling apart later on in the day.

I was not impressed by this gel liner. Application takes a little while to get used to and is tricky at first, and this is coming from someone who enjoys painting. I may use the brush if I happen to find a better product because it is quite nice, but this product doesn't do it for me! It looks nice and matte upon application, and is very pigmented. I found that it fades easily throughout the day, and transfers from my lash line into my crease. It may just be the shape of my eyes, but I have never tried another eyeliner that transfers onto my eyelids, so it was a strange finding. I tried putting on primer first, and wearing it with eyeshadow, but no matter how much I put on, the transfer still happens. I will not be using this product anymore, as there are many other great products, which are easier to use, that I don't experience any problems with.

I have been using this for the past couple of weeks wanting to try out a gel eyeliner without investing much money into it in case gel just don't work for me. I absolutely love it! It has a very sleek look and it is easy to build up the intensity. It's really dynamic - I can wear it as a lighter liner during the day and when I go out I can make a much more dramatic line. It does not smudge - although that may be because I wear an eye primer underneath. It seems like it will last for quite a while as it really doesn't take that much gel, even for a thicker line. It is easy to blend with some eyeshadow and doesn't get all flaky like some liquid liners do. I am also very impressed with the brush as it has retained its shape and has not begun to shed. I really wish Maybelline included a real cap for the brush though (not the the tiny plastic tube thing provided which I know I will probably lose soon enough), as that would probably make it last a lot longer. My eyes also tend to be quite sensitive and this liner does not bother them. Overall, a great purchase for just $10!

This eyeline smudges too easy. It does not stay on all day!
