Mine was Dry
I am not sure why, but my pot was dry. Like the desert.
It was difficult to scrape product from the pot. I ended up heating the pot in the microwave to try to get some product on the brush.
The product did not glide smoothly on my eye and much rubbing and stretching occurred. Also, pigmentation was below average and did not last very long. The product smudged all over my eyes and migrated on its own.
Was a bit a disappointed, but it seems like my pot was extraordinarily dry. Maybe mine was expired and never removed from the store?
Not worth it
I found this eyeliner a waste of money. The black colour is very nice and bold, but it smudges like CRAZY. It also transfers onto my eyelids. I wouldnt really recommend this product.
This did not work out for me. It creased and within a couple of hours I had a crease and it was as horrible. Definitely would like to see a differnt eyeliner from maybaline
I was looking for a cheaper substitute for my Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner and came upon this. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me - the quality just wasn't there
Pros:
- high pigment
Cons:
- smudges
- looks messy on the eye as if it diffuses a bit on the lids
If Essence's gel eyeliner in Midnight in Paris (black) was no longer available I might have to reconsider the maybelline version..but as it is, Essence's lasts longer, has a truer black, doesn't smudge and is cheaper than the Maybelline one, so there's really no reason for me to re-puchase this.
This smudges like crazy on me and irritates my sensitive eyes.
This is more like a wet powder than a gel. It clumped on the brush and then when I applied it to my eye it clumped more and the clumps fell onto my lower lid (and got in my eye)! Also, I have a darker skin-tone and, unless someone is within a foot of me, it doesn't even look like I'm wearing eyeliner! I've worn other purple eyeliners before and never had this problem.
Don't buy this!
Smudges and doesn't stay on very long!
Waste of your money!
I find it smudges, and goes into my crease to easily. Its also a tad thick and maybe I was just putting too much on but I tried to get the tinest on the brush and found it applied like a layer of frosting.
I prefer the pen type eyeliners over the gel.
