The first mascara I ever used :) I still love it, it works so well! It's great for length, volume, and a nice shot of inky color. If it's ever discontinued, I'm positive there will be riots in the streets!

I have been using the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara for years. I love the soft black colour and I find that applicator brush works well. It is easy to apply and I do not have trouble coating or separating my eyelashes. I have never had any smudging and it is easily removed (I use the Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes). I will continue to by a loyal Maybelline Great Lash customer!

I have used this product in the past, and didn't really think it was anything special (mind you, I was 13 and didn't think anything was special). I am fair skinned and have very blonde hair, which translates into having short, light eyelashes. I bought this product about 2 weeks ago because I wanted to use it to apply mascara onto the lashes that are on the side of my eye - and I knew that Maybelline's Great Lash wand could do that for me because I know it's small. What I wasn't expecting though, was that I would love the whole product all together! Honestly, I can't believe I am raving about this mascara because all my friends hate it and I have read reviews talking about its ineffectiveness. I found this product to give my lashes great separation and volume, even considering the small brush. It takes a few sweeps of the brush to get my eyelashes at the length and volume that I like, but it's worth it! It's also easy to take off at the end of the day. One pet peeve though is that it does tend to smudge during the day, but I also have a tendency to wipe my eyes, not remembering I have makeup on. I just carry q-tips around with me to clean up my under-eye area. Overall, great product! And I love how inexpensive it is, and I can usually find it on sale. I may give the BIG brush product a try too, just to compare the effectiveness. LOVE MAYBELLINE GREAT LASH!!!
P.s. I also have the clear Maybelline Great Lash which I use as a brow gel, and sometimes just for a clear coating on my lashes

I highly recommend this mascara for girls who already have long lashes and are looking for mascara that will make your lashes fuller/thicker. I have been using this brand for years, I have tried different yet a little fancier brands but i always come back to the original.
Affordable and does what it promises to do! What else can we ask for? Other than maybe a product makeover? :)

I have been using this mascara since I was 15 years old (27 now) I absolutly LOVE IT! It never clumps, provides long lasting flake free wear and washes off easily.

Ive been using this mascara for as long as I can remember its my moms favorite to.Its been around a long time and stands the test of time.

This is an old favorite! I always find myself buying all the newest mascaras, waterproof this, vibrating that, elongating to new heights blah blah....truth is....I always find myself returning to this very mascara. It's not expensive at all (about $5 at any drugstore), goes on smooth and lasts all day. No gimmicks, clumps and makes the most out of my lashes everyday and night!

I buy and try pretty much every mascara that comes out in my never ending quest for the perfect eyelashes, full and long.
Even though this classic formula has been out forever, I had not tried it because there was no commercial or actress that I could remember advertising it on tv or in magazines (usually what sucks me in).
This mascara is still not my ideal look for lashes, but compared to the amount of money I have spent buying gimmicky brushes and formulas in the past, this is by far the best one for the money. My lashes weren't clumpy, and they did look longer and fuller.

I like to research my products (or anything for that matter) before I buy them, and every review I came across gave the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara great props. After about a dozen websites and about a week of research, I gave in and ended buying one. My issue with mascara is that it always gets clumpy and I HATE looking like I have little spider legs for eye lashes, which always seem to happen no matter how pricey the product is. I was definitely skeptical about it even though it was one of the cheapest mascara you can find, and because it was the cheapest just because sometimes it's hard to let go of the "you get what you pay for" mentality. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. No clumps, no flakiness, just darker, fuller lashes. This was probably one of the best make up decisions I've ever made and for now I will never buy any other mascara.
