This is one of the cheapest mascaras I can get were I live so I thought I'd try it. If all you want is to have darker lashes, then this will work for you. I found all it did was change the color of my lashes. It doesn't build length or thickness. The only good thing about it is that it doesn't clump. Might be great for some people but was terrible for me.

I found this on sale one time for $3 so I had to give it a try. I had heard great things about it but I have to say I am personally not a fan... I just didn't think it did anything for me. I would way rather spend an extra few dollars to get a better mascara. Too bad though as I love the presentation of this product! Pink and green are my fave colours!

I tried this mascara after having read countless reviews from women who "swear by it", and I guess I can see why: It's 8 bucks! Does a decent job of darkening the lashes and didn't clump immediately, but aside from that, what can I say? It's average. The brush is small, the mascara will run and end up under your eyes as the slightest hint of moisture, and there is no perceptible lengthening or curling effect. It's ok in a pinch, but not going to become a staple of mine anytime soon.

I use this mascara for years a few times I let me tempt by a novelty but I always come back to the ci... It mean everything!!!

Started using this when i was 15 yrs old and i am still using. That should tell you something. The price is fantastic and the quality is awesome and out of this world. I absolutely love it.

Marketing and the relatively inexpensive cost of this mascara led me to try it. I do not understand why many other more impressive Maybelline mascaras have been discontinued...and this one continues to flourish. Those aforementioned reasons are most likely the reasons why everyone else had tried it at some point in their lives. Very few people (aside from beauty editors) actually like this one. Perhaps if the user already has enviably long lashes that need some color, this would work fine for her? Otherwise, imperceptible volume and length. Waste of time and money.

I had purchased the very black mascara for approximately four dollars on sale at Walmart once upon a time.

I have hardly any eyelashes, this product made my top lashes thick & long & I was able to make my basically non existent lower lashes thicken up enough to become existent.

It just doesn't separate lashes nicely, and the brush is too stubby for me.

I have used this mascara for 7 or 8 years now, almost exclusively. I have tried other brands during that time, but I’ve never been able to find one that I love as much! And the price can’t be beat!
