this mascara is so good. is super black. keeps a curl all day. does not irritate the eyes or smudge. stays where it's supposed to be and lasts all day. love it!

This is HANDS DOWN my favourite mascara ever! I've been a Maybelline Mascara devotee for ages, but this mascara takes the cake. Not only does it separate every lash, but it lengthens and curls them effortlessly. It has a fairly long brush, it is slightly curved, and fairly rigid, which really helps to separate every lash. The brush itself is not too fat, but it isn't thin or tiny either, it is about the same size as your lash-line would be. The product itself is very build-able, you can put on a little for natural definition, or layer it on for a more dramatic look. The product stays wet for a long time (unlike the chaotic lash by Maybelline, which dried out very quickly), and the product doesn't tend to clump up at the end of the brush. I don't find I have a lot of smudging or over-application of the product like some mascaras that come out of the tube with "gobs" of black product on the end, and I don't ever have to clean up mistakes. I will re-purchase this mascara as long as it is around.

I had used the same mascara for years, thinking the results it gave me were the best I could ever get. That I just had naturally stubby lashes that couldn't be nicely enhanced. Boy was I wrong!
I took a chance with this mascara when I saw it on sale at the drugstore and it has changed my life in terms of makeup, now I no longer feel like I need to wear eyeliner with mascara everyday to make my eyes pop. Price wise I find it completely reasonable, it's usually about $12 full price, but I often see it on sale for around $8, which is a total bargain considering it's so much better than the higher end mascaras I have tested. In terms of quality, it is absolutely stellar! I have never had a problem with it flaking away throughout the day. When I first tried it I wasn't sure I loved it, only because I hadn't mastered a correct technique. I had been trying to apply it like my other mascaras, by moving the wand side to side while coating my lashes. That created a clumpy look I'm not too fond of, so the trick is to move rather quickly and go straight from root to tip, followed by a second coat before it dries. I have the mistake of purchasing the waterproof version the first time around and although it was extremely effective it was practically impossible to remove at the end of the day.
I would highly recommend this mascara! I even bought it as a gift for a friend and she loves it now as well.

I was a little timid to try this product at first. I am not a fan of the fiber brushes. I love the normal bristle style brush. I have had a lot of bad experiences with the fiber brush, really hurting when applying. This product was totally different than any I had tried in the past. This brush was soft and didn't hurt at all while applying. It really gave great body and fullness to my lashes. I really liked this one.

I was first interested in this product because of its pretty packaging ( im such a sucker for pink) anyhoo I personally prefer mascaras to provide thickness then length and this mascara does deliver. I used it in the super black formula and it makes my eyes pop. It is definitely one of the best mascaras you can try under 10 bucks!!

One of the best mascara's on the modern markets. It is affordable with great quality. The curvature of the wand bristle coats every lash giving it volume and length. The formula I find though you do have to wait a bit for it to dry, but it allows for more than 2 coats with no clumping.

This is my new favourite mascara! I've been a fan of Maybelline mascaras ever since I bought my first tube of Full n' Soft in high school. I love this mascara because it doesn't flake or smudge throughout the day. I also the brush. It has one side that is tiny enough to get mascara right down to the base of my lashes (which are blond, so this is super important). During the week I mostly use just the short side of the brush. On weekends I use both sides to get really stand-out lashes. Love it!
