So I am usually a very natural, less is more make-up girl, but admittedly I always like to have some good mascara on hand. There just seems to be too many days now where I wake up and look in the mirror and find that you can barely see my eyes - they get lost without mascara.
So for my purposes I found this mascara near perfect. It goes on smoothly, with very minimal clumps and you don't need a whole lot to give your eyes that boost. It lengthens really well (hence the name) and doesn't give you that "overdoing it" look that you sometimes get from mascaras.
I love it and would definitely buy it again.

Maybelline.... That's the BEST brand in my opinion for mascaras.... they're just amazing !!!!! Like many other girls here, I'm sure, my very first love affair with makeup began with the Great Lash ! Even if the tube is horrible, It is is one of the mascara I always have in my "makeup collection" !!!!

Like most mascaras, I prefer when I have used it for a few days so the formula is thicker, not as liquidy....
The brush is a traditional one, not a plastic one, which means that yes... it can get clumpy if you're not carefull... It is long and thin, Which is a type of brush I like. The volumptuous has a curvy brush which helps getting... curvier eyelashes !!!
I prefer the volumptuous over the original formula ; out of the two, it's the one I will buy again...
My lashes are already really long, but I love the false eyelashes effect, which is almost what this mascara gives me.

I am constanty on the hunt for a great mascara because I have such puny lashes. I saw the Lash Stiletto mascara advertised on tv and thought this would be THE mascara I was looking for. Off to the store I went and purchased the mascara. | was excited to open the mascara and try it out. My first impressions of the mascara were good. The mascara went on smooth and effortlessly...no clumps to be found. It did the job of lenghting my lashes but not to the decree tha tI would have liked. Overall, the product was good...but I am still on the hunt for the perfect mascara.

I like it. It does not clump and it makes your lashes look long , you don't even need a eyelash curler. It works for me.

i bought this when it first came out because i loved the first one.the first day i used it i was in love it didnt clump or flake i wore it all day with no problems at all.the wand is good and easy to use.this is my go to mascara rite now.it makes my lashes long and full with one coat for day wear and with a second coat it is great for night wear too. i will deff buy this again

I got a kit that contained this mascara for xmas this year. Now that it is mid-May I think I can do a fair review on it. hehe. The kit contained the Stileto mascara, a quad of 'smokey eye' shades, black liquid liner and instructions of how to achieve their version of the smokey eye. This has been my go-to make up ever since I purchased it at Wal*Mart for around $20USD. The shadows don't crease or fade away even in the hot Miami weather, the liner never crumbles and the mascara never flakes away. I always get compliments on my very dramatic smokey eyes from this kit. The mascara itself is HUGE and very easy to apply. Mine did not come with the wiggly wand-- it's straight with nice big bristles. It seems like it is going to last for ages! I know I should have replaced it by now but it's not drying up at all and goes on just as flawlessly as the day I bought it. I like that I can build up with this product. To make my look super dramatic I let each coat dry fully before I add another. It does all it promises to and more. Try to find the kits if you like Maybelline's products they are SO worth it!!

I was very excited about trying out this mascara and at the moment it is my favourite. I like the style of the bottle and the wand/brush is easy to use. I like that there are no clumps and the brush is just perfect for getting each individual lash. I find that this mascara adds a lot of lengh - I already have longish lashes, so they really make my bottom lashes especially stand out. I do wish this mascara added some volume to my lashes as well, but I suppose the length makes up for it. I find that if you layer too much on your lashes it will flake throughout the day, so watch out for that (I find I can only put 1 coat or it flakes).

Maybelline New York Lash Stiletto Mascara has to be the best on the market. Love the long brush, glides on, stays on with no flaking! Try it...you'll see!

I found that after wearing it all day it started to flake and would leave dark rings under my eyes. I have not tried the waterproof kind yet so I am unsure as to how well that works.

I love love LOVE this mascara. It adds amazing length, lasts forever and never clumps. It's probably the best, most long lasting mascara I've ever used. Well worth the $10.00!
