I got this through the product review with Chick Advisor (awesome!)

I'd say it's definately worth the money if you're in to trying new neat technology.
I was a little afraid at first to try it, but once I got the hang of it, it actually wasn't so bad! It's easy to use, and like other mascaras, it had some clumps for me. I still might prefer using my own hand zig-zag movements to apply mascara, but maybe I still need some more time to test out this vibrating one.

I'll keep everyone posted in my experiment!

I like the idea of not having to "zig-zag" my own mascara wand to get that full lash look. What I like about this mascara is it's soo QUICK to apply. I can get my mascara on in half the time it usually takes! I also only have to apply a few coats, as the wand does all of the work for you.

I would say that the volume/lengthening is pretty good as well.

    What I did not like:
The vibrating sensation against your eye balls can freak some people out. it feels weird, and the first few times it will definitely make your eyes water - which may smudge the mascara.

Honestly I do prefer traditional mascara to this one, I like being able to build up the fullness on my own; as there are other ones that that are less expensive and give better results. Still, this is great if you are in a rush or always on the go.

    1. How it made your eyelashes look (Volume, length, texture, clumps, etc)

The mascara gave my lashes a good amount of length, but the volume was terrible it actually often clumped up my lashes together, one of the worst mascaras I've used. The volume express yellow maybelline mascara is much better compared. There was too much clumping and the applicator tip is bad, it takes on too much of the liquid which made it very messy :S

    2. How was the application? Did you find it easy to use? What advice would you give people who are trying it for the first time?

The application was not good either as the vibration tickled my eyes and made them tear.. which made it even more messy. If you're trying it for the first time get ready for a weird eye tickling experience, personally I dont believe the vibrations actually do anything.. they just take away the fun out of putting mascara on.

    3. Would you buy this product again and/or recommend it to your friends?

Overall, I would not buy it or recommend it to anyone.

I received the mascara to review for the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I love mascara, so I was excited. However, I was hesitant using something that vibrated so close to my eyes. I started with the lashes on the right. The mascara definitely added volume to my lashes. However, every time I tried to apply the mascara to my left eye, my eyes would start to water. I would have mascara smudged around my eye. It added time to my short make up routine in the morning. After the first use, you get used to the buzzing sound.

I would not purchase this mascara as it caused my left eye to water. I use several different brands of mascara and this does not happen.

I was excited when I heard about this mascara; I got to try the Lancome Oscillation and while I liked it, there was no way I would ever pay that much for a mascara so I'm glad that Maybelline is coming out with a drugstore version. I've always been a big fan of Maybelline mascaras (Lash Stiletto was my go-to mascara before I got this) so I had high hopes.
For the most part, I was not disappointed. Both the formula of this mascara and the oscillation do a great job of lengthening my lashes. Not as great a job as Lash Stilleto, but still a really good job. I didn't experience any flaking and when I used my lash curler after applying the mascara it held the curl pretty well. I also didn't have any problems removing it at the end of the day.
My one big complaint with this mascara is the brush. I don't know if it's rubber or what but it doesn't have actual bristles like a regular mascara, it's kind of molded into spikes that I guess act like bristles. I know I'm not explaining it right but it's the same type of brush as Lancome Oscillation so maybe that will help clear it up.
Anyway. Because of the way the brush is made, you can't scrape excess product onto the neck of the tube as you normally do; you have to wipe it off on a tissue. I personally hate doing that because it's a huge waste of product. You also have to squeeze the tissue pretty hard against the wand in order to get the mascara out from in between those spikes, otherwise you are gonna have major clumping issues.
If you manage to get the right amount of product on the wand, application is a dream. The vibration seems to be a bit stronger with this one than with Lancome's version, which means you get better length, and it does a great job of getting those little skimpy lashes on the inner corners of my eyes. I would skip the vibrating action on the lower lashes though; it can be tricky to pull it off without clumping.
If you don't get off all the extra product you will need a good lash comb to get through the clumps. I used my trusty Tweezerman comb and when I finished combing through I had great defined, long, glossy lashes. It's just an extra step I prefer not to take though.
Overall I would say that if you're looking for a vibrating mascara, Pulse Perfection should be your pick. I definitely prefer it to Oscillation and not just because it's cheaper.

I received the mascara as part of the product review club, and definitely am liking it. I've used another vibrating brush mascara and had a few issues with it so I was apprehensive. I tried it on before an eight hour work day, I wanted to see if it flaked at all (a problem I had with the other). So I liked the application the clumps were minimal, the brush did apply quite alot of mascara on the first swipe, but because of the vibration when I swiped it a few more times the mascara was pretty evenly distributed. So it really needed that extra time to brush it through. The button is pretty easy to push when applying and didn't require me to twist my hand into a weird position to apply it. I loved the length that the mascara gave me, the volume was decent but not spectacular. I would definitely buy it, especially because there don't seem to be many or any vibrating mascaras for under $40, so for $20 its a good deal especially because it works just as well if not better than the expensive ones!

If you have sensitive eyes, this might not be the mascara for you. My eyes water each time I use it, which makes the make-up run and I need to re-apply. I like the idea of a vibrating brush, but it really irritated my eyes and I didn't find that it made my lashes any longer than my non-vibrating mascara. Also, I found the product to be quite thick and it clumped easily.
Overall I was dissapointed in the mascara and will likely stick to my current one.

This is my new favourite mascara! At first I started to wiggle then remembered the whole point of this mascara. hahaha oh habits. The vibrating brush did and amazing job. It coated every single lash perfectly. I didn't even feel the need to go back over too much (and I usually do quite a bit). I showed my boyfriend and he said my lashes looked really good, better than most mascaras I've used. It made my lashes really long, as long as or longer than lash stileto and did hold curl (I always curl them before applying mascara so I can't judge on how well it curls on its own). I think the result did look very much like lash stileto only better because they were longer and not so fine looking, was a bit thicker. Oh and one thing I really like in a mascara that this offered was getting those little lashes in the inner corners of your eye. The vibrating wasn't too loud or scary either it was just neat. I am definately repurchasing!

I was really curious and excited to try this mascara. I finally received it and used it the day of. At first, it was kind of tricky to hold down the button and use it the same time, i kept slipping and it would turn off, but after a while, i got the hang of it. I was really tempted to do the zig zag motion like i would with other mascaras, but i really didn't need to in order to achieve the same effect. The wand is delicate and it creates a nice even coat on your lashes. I find that for the first coat, you really don't need a lot of work to get lengthened, curled, even lashes. Doing one coat will give you natural looking long lashes. If you do another coat, it gets a bit thick, but gives a nice, full dramatic effect. After the second coat, i wiped off the excess on my brush and ran it through while the wand is still vibrating, this helped separate the lashes even more. I also used in on my lower lashes, surprising, it worked really well. The wand does tickle your eye a little, but nothing that will irritate my eyes. overall, i really like the mascara and the concept. I will be repurchasing.
