Stays on all day!

Lasts super long and is highly pigmented. Perfect for all day or a night out. Found that it applied a little unevenly but nothing that a second coat / blending can't fix!

It’s a okay product

If it was in more of a natural shade like a nude I would buy it all out this lipstick doesn’t budge it’s almost impossible to remove but formula is awesome

Title says it all !

This liquid lipstick is exactly as mentioned in title. It is super matte and does not come off unless you use makeup remover. The scent of this lipstick is really nice. I am giving it a three star because it dries lighter than the colour of the bottle, and it has a dry/sticky texture once completely dried.

A Make-up Staple

Always enjoy a quality liquid lip stick. It isa great colour that would suit a multitude of skin tones with ease. It is long lasting and looks great when first applied. However, just like any other lip stain, it will eventually need a retouch in order to stay looking fresh and not drying on the lips. Considering the price point of this product, I would still recommend it!

Long lasting

This product has got to be the longest lasting lip product I've tried in forever. Even pixi makeup removing wipes and my waterproof eye makeup remover wouldn't take it off. I'd only recommend this product due to the long wearing formula. With wearing masks; this is a good feature. Its a good lip stain that isn't terribly drying. However I would not consider this product a creamy gloss. It dries quick and dries matte. Applies creamy and easily.

Messy

I am not usually a lip color gal and lip glows or balms are my go-to. Mind you I do not have much experience applying such bold/opaque colors and this was not exception. This made such a mess on my lips and I felt like a clown. Gave me the vibes of a kid playing with crayon. Did not like the formula.

Not an everyday lipstick

The coverage and colour payoff with this lip product is very good. However, if you have the winter lips that are extra dry, you need a lot of hydration before putting this on. Because it doesn’t transfer and doesn’t budge, it is a good night-out lipstick, especially if your lips are hydrated enough.

Too drying & applicator broke

I really tried to make this shade work for my brown skin. I lined it with a brown liner and topped it with a lipgloss. Unfortunately, the lip applicator broke while pushing it back into the lipstick and now it's stuck in there. I also thought the formula was a bit too dry for my lip.

Learning curve

So I got the shade ringleader and when I first put it on I was optimistic. It felt nice, not patchy, and didn't smell strongly. But when it dried down it look dry at the same time as it was too wet! I watched a couple more reviews and apparently you have to put on a thinner layer to get a smooth look that lasts a long time. Planning on giving it another go!

Maybelline Matte Ink Lipsticks

Overall this product is actually very interesting. Unfortunately the packaging is flawed. There is almost nothing in place to keep someone from sampling it in store. A tiny little piece of tape is there, and it breaks so easily. The actual lipstick is a nice product. But a few I was given as a gift were already opened, and were thrown out.
