Extremely Mattifying

I've tried the visionary shade in Maybelline super stay Matte Ink. I have a tan skin tone and I guess it suited me quite well though my skin looks a bit washed out. I wanted to try a new shade as I was bored of the reds and browns. It's super matte and stays for a longer time. Trust me I had ice cream with this and still, it hasn't faded much.You need to cleanse this product in order to take it off. I would give a thumbs up for this product.

I bought this at my local Shoppers Drug Mart, for the price it wasnt too bad, They had lots of different colors to choose from. It covers very nicely, BUT and that is a BIG BUT it it starts to get very sticky, and then flaking. I dont like this product, and am kind of disappointed by the results.

Long lasting lipstick

I love this lipstick and the best thing is “long lasting” you can use it at first time in the morning and will stay with you all day, the price it’s really fair and you can get it at Walmart or Shopper. Also this brand have a huge variety of colors it’s amazing! I definitely will buy it again

Maybelline Matte Ink Lipsticks

Overall this product is actually very interesting. Unfortunately the packaging is flawed. There is almost nothing in place to keep someone from sampling it in store. A tiny little piece of tape is there, and it breaks so easily. The actual lipstick is a nice product. But a few I was given as a gift were already opened, and were thrown out.

Recently have gotten into more lipsticks, found this product at my local Shoppers DM. All colours are great, good pigment. Lasts long and stays on looking very nice. Very impressed with this product, even smells very nice unlike many matte lipsticks I've tried in the past. Highly recommend.

Maybelline matte lip ink - made me a matte lover

This matte lip ink converted me from your typical glosses to a matte stain wearer. It was recommended by a coworker to me and I begrudgingly tried hers and fell and love. It’s NOT AT ALL drying like your typical matte lip products. I found it very normal. It actually does stay on all day. I once showered and it was still on after. Make sure to invest in makeup removing wipes to help get it off. Comes in a bunch of great colours! Depending on where you go the price varies... drugstore lipstick for $15 always kinda irritates me but this is worth it based on its longwear qualities. I have seductress and loyalty and love them both for just subtle pinkey nude colours for work.

Stays on for hours with no transfer. However, may dry up and patch up.
Also some colours are closely similar, and look different in tubes- watch swatches before purchase!

I wanted to love this so bad!

I wanted to love this so much more from all the rave reviews, but the formula is just too sticky in my opinion. The only way I can make this work for me is by putting a layer of balm on first, and then it’s not so bad, but still not my favourite. It dries down fast, long-lasting and stays comfortable on the lips (With a layer of balm under) applicator is easy to work with. The only fault is the layer of film that sticks around, and I can see it pull when opening and closing my mouth. It is a true matte though!

14 shades down!

I never had the luck most have with liquid lipstick. I was hesitant about buying theses but decided it can't hurt to try.
I now own 14 of the 20 shades.
This product works perfectly for me. No drying out my lips, great pigmentation and ink is sure the right description. I've had these on 30 hours. And it's hard to remove but isn't that a good thing in a liquid lipstick? You bet. I use some miceller water and then give my lips a rest for a day or two as removal can be harsh.

Great product!

I was SOOOO looking forward to try this lipstick! First of all, it stays on F-O-R-E-V-E-R. Not a chance this fades during the day! I talked, ate and kissed and still had my full lipstick on. The color is wonderful, though while looking at reviews before, I thought it would be a lighter, more bright color. But it’s alright! I still adore it. The wand has a great shape which makes it okay to apply. It’s also very very pigmented (which I love more than anything else!) so while trying it the first few times, I had some issues ! It’s a bit a pain to wipe off so you basically have to apply it right on the first try. My solution: I liplined my lips with a matching color I already had and then applied my matte ink after! The result was perfect! This lipstick has become my go-to-red (along another lighter shade) to keep in my purse! Down side: your lips feel a bit sticky after applying it.
