I like this mascara so much and this mascara gives me thick and longer lashes . I use this with my Oreal voluminous mascara and it's great combo . I would definitely purchase this again

This Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara delivers on all promises: longer, thicker lashes without clumps. The brush bristles are quite stiff, which makes it perfect to separate each and every lashes.

I received the Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This is a good mascara. There isn't really anything that sets it apart from other mascaras on the market that also claim to give your lashes more volume. I needed two coats to get the volume and look I wanted, but I always do. The brush was fine, nothing really special about it. Overall, I wouldn't rush out to by this mascara. It works, but doesn't do anything special.

The product went on easily without flaking clumping or wearing off by the end of the day.




It came off easily enough with my make up remover.




It did give some volume but not as much as I would expect from a product called colossal big shot.




I generally choose a mascara that gives both volume and length. This one didn't really hold up compared to me regular preferred mascara. And for that reason alone I probably would not buy this in the future.




Overall I give it four out of five for quality and a three out of five for effectiveness and value. At $11.99 I feel that you can find a much better mascara.

I love mascara and have tried several brands, and I have to say that this one really rivals some higher end brands. I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the shade Blackest Black in exchange for my honest opinion. The pigmentation is deep black and it works really well to lengthen and separate lashes without becoming clumpy. It isn't waterproof so it comes off easily with a bit of water, but doesn't flake or smear during the day.

I honestly can't explain how much I really like this mascara! It makes my lashes look amazing, almost like I'm wearing falsies! Its not clumpy and it doesn't flake by the end of the day. I feel like this mascara can make anyone's lashes look longer and fuller. This is a must-have! #gotitfree

My favourite part about this mascara is that I can do a single coat on my lashes for a light look. I can also add more coats to have a more dramatic look. I found that it does sometimes clump at the end of my lashes.
Overall I really liked this mascara and will buy it again but will try the waterproof next time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara! It doesn't clump or take forever to remove from my lashes. I prefer the waterproof one and it doesn't smudge at all. Price is great too!

Im not super picky when it comes to mascara, because I have naturally very long and full lashes anyway. When I find a mascara I like I normally just stick to that. However, this made me switch from the one I was using. I love the volume and length I get when I use this with no clumps, and it's not too hard to remove like some mascaras can be. My only complaint is that it's a little hard to get the lower lash line, but I can always use something else for that and keep using this on the top!
