I received this product free to review from Maybelline New York and ChickAdvisor.

The product went on easily without flaking clumping or wearing off by the end of the day.

It came off easily enough with my make up remover.

It did give some volume but not as much as I would expect from a product called colossal big shot.

I generally choose a mascara that gives both volume and length. This one didn't really hold up compared to me regular preferred mascara. And for that reason alone I probably would not buy this in the future.

Overall I give it four out of five for value and quality and a three out of five for effectiveness.

I am very picky when it comes to mascara. Many mascara brands really bug my eyes so I wasn't optimistic, but I have to say it didn't bother me at all and it made my lashes look really good. This mascara made them long and full looking. I would definitely buy this again and it is much cheaper then my usual brand. Awesome product in my opinion!

A mascara that lets you build volume with each layer

Thank you Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product.This mascara goes on light which makes it easier to built on each layer. So if you just want to define your lashes without a lot of coverage, this product is great. It does allow you to build volume but layering it up and doesn't get thick or clumpy so it's a good mascara overall. It definitely made my lashes look longer. However, I find the packaging to be a little bulky and difficult to open.

Le mascara Colossal Big Shot est sans aucun doute mon produit préféré de la campagne Maybelline. Non seulement il est vraiment pas cher mais il est super efficace. A la première application il fait déjà les cils volumineux, il allonge aussi, la tenue est super. Je me suis même demandé si c'était un mascara waterproof tellement il tient. Je le recommande vraiment et il va devenir un nouveau ''favorite'' dans ma collection.

Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara gave my lashes amazing volume.
The brush created great separation, volume, and thickness. I liked the dramatic look it gave my lashes.
The brush provided good separation. I liked the length this mascara created. It didn't clump as I added more mascara. My eyelashes still felt light even though I put a couple of coats of mascara on.
I thought the brush held a good amount of product.
Maybelline continuously creates great mascara. Best of all #GotItFree❣

I really like how I can manipulate and make my eye lashes fill out using Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara. It's simple to use for added lashable lengths and boldness.

The mascara lasted all night but it is kind of clumpy towards the end of the lashes. It leaves bulky clumps unless I wave it in a zigzag motion. Other than that it was very good and dark.

Voici maintenant mon constat en ce qui concerne le mascara je sais pas si c'est moi qui n'est pas le tour mais bon je n'ai pas été impressionnée par son effet de longueur celui que j'ai présentement fait la même chose mais avec une brosse beaucoup plus délicate et facile d'utilisation . Bref je n'aime pas la grosse brosse qui n'est pas pratique à mon avis pour faire une belle finition . Je recommande toutefois le produit pour celles qui aiment ce genre .

I #gotitfree this mascara was awesome. I did one coat and then reapplied a few minutes later. Colour is perfect, stayed on all day, didn't smudge or flake off. Easily removed with eye make up remover! win win

This is a great mascara, it does not clump together or stick. It is long lasting and looks amazing. My eyelashes look longer and fuller but more natural than other products that I have tried.
