I received shade 223blackestblack. I have short eyeleashes too and bottom. This product with one application gave me decent volume without clumping. I didn't need to over it again. One coat is what the package said and I was skeptical but it really worked. I will definitely be buying his again!

For drugstore mascara, Maybelline has always been my go to for mascaras. They are affordable and get the job done. In order to make an impact you do need to apply a few coats and work the want through your lashes to get the colossal look. It does get a bit clumpy but working the wand through it can fix that. This is a good mascara to throw in your bag if you don't want to carry something super expensive around. If you are going to purchase your make up from the drugstore, Maybelline mascaras are quite popular and affordable.

I love how this mascara was literally the blackest black. This mascara provides a lot of volume. I personally like to apply multiple layers and found that it didn't get too clumpy. The way the brush is bristled, helps to keep the lashes separate. I personally enjoy mascara that boosts length as well but this mascara nails the volume factor.

I've tried the Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara #LoveMaybellineNewYork I #GotIfFree from ChickAdvisor . I have tried many brands of mascara over the years and I have always gotten clumps when I've applied the mascara. Maybelline went on really easy and there was absolutely no clumping. I would definitely recommend it and I will be buying it in different colours.

Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara formula is smooth and easy to apply. I think it does the job nicely and the colour is rich and pigmented. I find it to be comparable to high end brands.

I liked the mascara, it did make my lashes look more voluminous and a little longer. Although it adds volume, it still makes the lashes look natural.

Overall its a pretty good natural mascara.

I tried Maybelline's The Colossal Big Shot mascara and was really surprised at the great volumizing effect! I love the wand; the brush is the shape I prefer with lots of bristles. Long wearing and I only used two coats.

This product is pretty good. I wouldn't say it gives you huge long lashes though. I had to apply several coats, to get my eyelashes fairly thick. There was some clumping, and I don't like that I had racoon eyes after a couple of hours.

I LOVE THIS MASCARA! I actually haven't really fallen in love with a Maybelline mascara in quite a while, but from the first time I tried this I was 100% on board. First of all, the gold packaging is gorgeous, sleek and simple. I also really enjoy the wand, which is a natural bristle brush with a slight taper to the shape and bristles that are placed somewhat differently than a traditional mascara wand. The formula of the product is super black and walks that line where it isn't too wet - which I hate - but also isn't so dry that I think this mascara is going to only work for a short time. The thing that I love most about this is that I really feel like it grabs and defines every lash, giving the look of really full, thick lashes that I always love. I feel like it adds a little bit of length, but if you're really looking for length over volume, this might not be the one for you. Still, I think this is my new favorite drugstore mascara and I'm going definitely going to reup when I run out of this one.
