I was chosen to review this as part of Chickadvisors Product Review Club #gotitfree. I really liked how great my lashes looked with this mascara! It was clump free and smudge proof. By the end of my day, it wasn't under my eyes, which is a huge mascara pet peeve for me. I'd definitely repurchase.

This maybelline New York colossal big shot mascara was gifted to me it works amazing I love that it don't get my lashes all clumpy it gives them plenty of volume.

I received this product from ChickAdvisor and Maybelline in exchange for my honest opinion. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to try this product. I first noticed that it does not have an overwhelming scent like some mascaras, which I quite enjoyed. When I first pulled out the wand I noticed some of the bristles were stuck together and bent. I tried to avoid using that side of the wand because I knew it would cause clumping. I noticed that sometimes the wand still added clumps to my eyelashes, even when I avoided the stuck bristles. When the mascara did not clump I really liked how long and voluminous it made my eyelashes. It also lasted through out my long days and I was able to remove it easily at the end of the day. Overall, I really enjoyed this product I just wish there was less clumping because the clumping added extra time in my morning because I needed to redo my makeup due to smudging.

This is my new favorite mascara hands down! NO CLUMP AT ALL. The wand is designed so that every inch of every lash gets coverage. My lashes look long, thick, natural and fantastic.

This mascara is just so good my eyelashes are like fake eyelashes they look so big and with volume , is just great I feel like a doll with these eyelashes, really happy with Maybelline New York and I got it free

There are so many mascaras to choose from, but this one stands out. The applicator ensures that you don't get any clumping in your lashes and the mascara lasts all day. A bonus is the instagrammable gold packaging!

The fourth product that I was asked to test out in the #LoveMaybellineNewYork #productreviewclub offer from @ChickAdvisor was the Maybelline NewYork The Colossal Big Shot Volume Express Mascara. What an impressive product. I was overjoyed with the fact that after applying only one coat from root to tip; my lashes had dramatically increased in volume. My lashes had no clumps and the wand let me separate each lash mess free. I was at the gym when I had this mascara on and even after an intense workout, the product did not run. It gives your lashes that wide eyed, professional finish. I was able to effortlessly remove the mascara with a makeup remover cloth. This is a great product that doesn’t feel heavy onr uncomfortable on your lashes and the final result is stunning. I will definitely purchase another tube once mine runs out. I find with many the goop dries up and then I start to pull it off along with my eyelashes! :(


What a great mascara! no spider eyes or flaking and NO GOOP to clump up on my lashes!

The pros outweigh the cons with this mascara.

First, I hate the name The Colossal Big Shot Volum'Express. Small issue, I know, but it is awkward to say and write. I also find the wand is hard to hold. It feels too big and the shape is weird.

However, I love the extra length that I get. I haven't had any smudging or flaking. It's also easy to remove without pulling at my lashes.
