Colossal big shot by Maybelline is just that. It definitely enhanced my lashes making them fuller and longer. Great jet black colour. Lasted and a great deal.

It's easy to apply the big brush allows you to easily apply to lashes
I find it does not stay on all day though and I had to reapply every few hours
Definitely keep it in your purse for easy access
Not waterproof at all so if it's hot out it will come off easily
Aside from that it's a nice mascara for daily use

Definitely in love with this mascara as it is. It too clumpy but at the same time it really volumazies my lashes and makes them look amazing! Love this brand for a drugstore masacaras! Worth every penny!

I really like this mascara. The formula isn't too wet but wet enough to not clump and make my lashes stick together. This mascara reminded me why I like mascaras with bristles. The shape of the wand really fanned out my lashes and made them look fuller. The wand is also a great shape that lets you get close to your lash line allowing you to build up the base of your lashes for that fuller more voluminous look.

Easy to Create Big Lashes

I was very excited when I saw the picture on the packaging of the before and after of lashes using this product. I didn't have quite the same result but I only used a couple of coats because I like a more natural look. It was very easy to use and it made my lashes look thicker and longer. I would look a bit more fullness but I was happy with the result.

I was very disappointed in Maybelline The colossal big shot mascara. I like the string color and the brush, but it was dry, contained lots of clumps and was not easy to apply. I received it free from Chickadvisor to try and review and my opinion is honest.

I was excited to try Maybelline's New York "The Colossal Big Shot" mascara. It came in black & looked promising. It went on well (no clumps) & stayed on all night (I even slept in it to see how it would hold up, and it did pretty). It's a great mascara for every day wear (for work or day events), it didn't give me the big dramatic lashes I was hoping for (the kind you'd wear with a smoky eye on a night out). The fact that it doesn't clump or flake off is a great, I just wish it gave more volume &/or length.

If you're not looking for a product that's going to give you dramatic lashes, this is a great mascara for your daytime make up bag =D

I received this product for free as part of the Chickadvisor product review club. I really liked the Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara. It enhanced my eyes and went on pretty smooth. For me personally, one coat was enough as more than that gave me a thick clumpy look. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new mascara. It also didn't irritate my eyes which is so important!

I received the Maybelline New York The Colossal Big Shot Mascara for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This is a good mascara. There isn't really anything that sets it apart from other mascaras on the market that also claim to give your lashes more volume. I needed two coats to get the volume and look I wanted, but I always do. The brush was fine, nothing really special about it. Overall, I wouldn't rush out to by this mascara. It works, but doesn't do anything special.
