Good, but is it great?

I wanted to be in love with this mascara but with a few uses I can say it is good. It curls lashes, and even lengthens slightly, but my issue is the lasting power is not the best. After a few hours my lashes droop, though that could partially just be my lashes.

Won't Disappoint!

I'm extremely picky when it comes to mascara, and I must say this one didn't disappoint! It went on smooth with no clamping, and lasted all day with no flaking. My eyelashes are very thin with no volume! The Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara definitely adds lots of volume, and makes my eyelashes look full. For a more dramatic look I used an eyelash curler, and added a second coat.

Good mascara!

I tend to prefer drug store mascaras to high end ones, and this is no exception. I really liked using this, I found it didn’t clump and gave some good definition and curl.

definitely gives extra volume and length

The Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara is meant you give you extra volume and amp up your curl game. While I got the extra volume and length, I didn't get much extra curl. I got the best results curling my lashes with a curler before using this one.

Decent mascara

I like maybelline mascaras but this one wasn’t my favourite. Worked well but didn’t give me any dramatic or noticeable lashes. Great for everyday wear, just not for me because I like the false lash look.

Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara

I had the opportunity to try Maybelline's The Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara in blackest black. I have tried other mascara's from the colossal line before and they were very effective so i was excited to try this mascara. The product comes in a catchy yellow and white tube. The yellow wand/brush is curved to help cover every lash to allow for more bounce. The mascara allows for 24 hour wear and is smudge and flake resistant. I found the mascara easy to apply and the brush worked well for applying the mascara to all my lashes. I did not notice the instant bounce/curl but i did notice that my lashes looked thicker and longer. I found the mascara lasted all day long and I didn't notice any flakes or smudging at the end of the day.

Definition and curl, but no volume

I have to start off by saying I have short, fine, blonde lashes that are super straight. In other words, I need miracle mascara!

This mascara did a very good job of defining my lashes (aka no clumps) and I did notice the curl (after using an eyelash curler of course) lasted longer than usual. I did try touching my lashes and they felt quite soft (I guess that's the "bounce"!). However, this mascara barely added any length or volume. It wasn't really buildable either, and there was still some flaking by the end of my work day (8h of wear?). This would be good for someone who already has long and/or full lashes and just needs some lightweight help in the colour and/or curl department.

Actually curls and doesn’t clump!!

I loved this mascara the second I put it on! It didn’t react to my eyes badly or make them red which I am so happy about! My lashes were so long and curled after applying only a few coats and it wasn’t clumping at all! I will definitely be using this product more and buying it again!! I totally recommend it!

Love it!

I've tried many different mascaras in the past, but had yet to try this one. I like that the handle for the wand is large, so it's easy and comfortable to hold. The wand has a slight curve to it, which I prefer. I definitely find it makes it easier to apply the mascara to your lashes with a curved brush. I liked how full my lashes looked after using this mascara. It also holds up throughout the day, and I found it didn't really transfer to the skin under my eyes. When it was time to remove it, I found that it came off somewhat easier than other mascaras I've been using. I actually really like this product, and I will purchase it again in the future.
