I love it!!! This product does what it says. I was a little skeptical at first. The brush kinda threw me but once I applied it my lashes took on a whole new level. They do look false and I like the volume and length it adds. Fanned out look. My new go to.
I received this mascara for free in a recent Maybelline Facebook contest. The one I received is in the colour "Very Black" and is not waterproof. The application wand of this mascara is very unique as it does not have normal bristles as most mascara wand does. Instead, the tip of the wand is curved and it has a section of very tiny rubber bristles that is supposed to sweep the mascara alongside with the curve of your lashes. I wish that the application bristles were a bit longer because it took many attempts to give an even coating and by then I had a really thick layer of mascara on my lashes. Since the one that I got is not waterproof, a thicker layer of product meant more chances to flake/rub off as the day goes on. Fortunately it stayed on pretty well as long as I was careful with it. The mascara is reasonably priced and there IS a waterproof version. If you like thick and very pigmented mascara, you can definitely give these a try
this mascara is wonderful I don't even have to use my eyelash curler with it. it doesn't clump or flake and makes my eyes lashes long and beautiful. I defentitly will be making this my new mascara forever.i absolutely luv it!
I have been absolutely living for this mascara! Honestly, I spend most of my dollars on high end cosmetics but no mascara compares, especially for the price!
Pros:
Amazing lash separation
Volume with minimal brush strokes
When they say black, they mean it
Great packaging / easy to hold
Affordable!!
Cons:
My only complaint, although I love the wand, it's a bit more challenging lining the inner tear duct without leaving a spot to clean up after.
In closing:
The con is more likely me still gettung used to the wand and it certainly isn't a reason not to buy. In fact, I'll be buying more of this mascara today!
I had high hopes for this mascara as I do like the Falsies Push Up Drama version. This version is horrible -- the formula flakes off almost immediately and don't even get me started about the wand. It is impossible to apply on the left eye with the right hand too. I tossed it in the trash after the first use.
This mascara is okay. If you like a natural, defined, fluttery look this mascara will impress you. There's a time and a place for that, but I like my mascara to make me look like I'm wearing falsies.
My problem with this mascara is that it sucks at building volume. It'll give you length and definition, but the volume just isn't there. If this mascara gave me volume, I would adore it.
The brush is easier to use than I imagined it to be. I like the fact that it's curved. The brush prevents the mascara from being clumpy.
The mascara washes off easily and does not flake on me.
I would not repurchase this mascara again. It's just not dramatic enough for me. And it's more expensive than the mascara's in Maybelline's Volum' Express line and Lash Sensational line and those mascaras perform much better for a better price.
I do like this mascara, but it's not something I use everyday. The brush is the only small issue I have with this. I have a very hard time getting the corner lashes on the top and bottom. I have poked myself too many times to count and this comb really hurts when it jabs you in the eye. The formula doesn't like to layer on itself either, it gets clumpy pretty quickly. It's a good mascara for every now and then, but Maybelline makes much better ones.
