I was so excited to try this product because I have very thin invisible eyelashes, and this product promised big dramatic eyelashes. I was so disappointed - while it makes my eyelashes long and black, they are so full of clumps and oodles of goop that I just ended up washing it all off. The brush is curved in supposedly the shape of an eye, but it doesn't fit my eye shape so it was difficult to use. In my opinion this product is just one big mess.

As a creature of habit, it's incredibly important to me that I find a brand and product line that can withstand the rigors of everyday use without leaving me feeling short-changed - this is especially true in makeup purchases where 'bare essentials' cost roughly seven to forty dollars each! In this, I have been unfailingly satisfied with Maybelline's Falsies Volum' Express mascara.

Initially, I had reached for the snazzy purple tube in lieu of my former preference when, true to form, I had run absolutely dry and desperately needed to resupply last-minute before work. Horror of horrors, my go-to was out of stock.

While it did the job, I had nabbed the dreaded 'waterproof' version. While the length and performance during wear was phenomenal outside of predictable clumping, the nightmare of removal made me ditch within two uses. Beyond satisfied with the product as a whole, however, I gave the line another shot and selected the standard 'non'-waterproof version. In recommending the product, I firmly support this variation. Not only are many of the clumping issues allayed, but you can go to sleep without worrying that the remnants of your inky accouterment are going to glue your eyes shut come morning.

Over all, a solid product from a solid company. Stick with the standard and avoid the waterproof to maximize its potential.

This is a really great mascara, for the most part. The brush is curved so it hugs your lashes very well, and the shape and texture of the brush really help highlight every single lash you have. It definitely deserves the name "falsies" because it makes you look like you have a lot more lashes than you do. I also love that it gives them a very soft feathered look, with very few clumps.

The downfall of this mascara for me is the quality. About mid-day I notice it flaking, and it smudges onto my upper lid and into the outer corner of my eyes. I have really oily skin though, so this won't happen for everyone!

For the price though, a very good mascara!

It goes on easily and it makes my eyelashes look longer and I love it! It lasts all day, which I love.

Sorry but I don't see what the big deal is about this mascara. It clumps a lot, it's hard to apply since the mascara builds up so much on the wand. It dries too fast which makes the result clumpy before you can comb through your lashes. And it flakes off easily so by the end of the day I get little black crumbs under my eyes.

I have long and thing eyelashes, not voluminous in any way and clump so easy it isn't funny. Because of the clumping problem it makes it difficult to find mascaras to suit my eyelashes. Yes they all make my long eyelashes even longer and nice but I only have 10 after i apply mascara. Using this mascara is PERFECTION for my eyelashes. It separates them beautifully (biggest deal breaker), lengthens, coats them all perfectly and makes them look amazing. I no longer have just 10 eyelashes, I have a whole set that look amazing. If you have similar eyelashes to me I definitely recommend this product, it is the best when it isn't fresh and is a bit more dry.

Makes my lashes flare beautifully and naturally! It's my favorite! But not the waterproof one! Color is always black ;)

The price is too high when u can get the same great coverage from E.L.F.

I always have a problem with wearing mascarra, at the end of the evening I look like a raccoon with big black smears underr my eyes until I tried this product which was recommended by a friend. It doesn't smear or flake off, I no longer have raccoon eyes, thank you Maybelline:-)

Never tried this one before but decided too because the price was right 5.87 at walmart! best mascara ever! no clumps and my lashes look naturally long and dark! highly recommend it!
