Loved the idea, but it clumped easily. I really don't enjoy flakey, clumped mascara.

So let me preface this by saying that I am a drugstore mascara fiend, if there's one makeup product that can solely and quickly enhance a bare face, I'd say mascara hands down. I'm interested in trying out the latest and or old favorites that are available at the drugstore, because, at least for now, I can't justify purchasing a ~$25 tube of mascara only to have it dry up or go bad in 2 months or so. I have not been blessed with beautiful lashes so you can imagine my disappointment every time a mascara does not live up to its hype/claim. Okay so on to this review, I will be in the minority here and say that this mascara is not what I would call an all time fave. It holds a curl fairly well, the scent is not repulsive, but it is clumpy and the formula too wet for my liking. I'd like to think the fault is also in the brush which picks up way too much product and thus results in a goopy mess. It is quite buildable and creates instant volume, so I can see why they'd name it the "falsies", but personally it more often then not looks spidery, not a good look.

Not the worst drugstore mascara, and if used sparingly and with time it is alright, but given all the praise this mascara's been given, I'd say not quite praiseworthy.

I love maybelline products, and was really excited to try this out. I have heard great things about it. I don't know if I got a defective tube or not, but I had some clumping sticking issues. Would not purchase again, will be trying a different one next time.

I tried both the waterproof and regular versions of Falsies Volum' Express Mascara. I'm not sure if I had a defective tube of waterproof mascara, but for some reason I had a lot of clumping issues that I did not have with the regular kind. I did like how both types made my lashes look thicker, but it didn't really contribute to length any. I did like it enough to buy it more than once, and the price is pretty much exactly the same as the next brand, so it is not overpriced. I did wish the waterproof version didn't clump so badly though, because typically I do prefer waterproof mascara.

i LOVE this mascara! its my go to for full long sexy looking lashes! worth every penny! i get asked daily, are those your REAL lashes or are they fake?

I wouldnt say the results depicted in the commercial are at all accurate, but what is? I personally LOVE this mascara. The way it goes on, adds length and gives a dramatic look. I did find, however, that after only a week or so of use, it was already beginning to dry out, and became clumpy. Still my favorite though.

This mascara is amazing. I love it. It really does make you look like you're wearing fake lashes--except much more natural! I love Maybelline mascaras because they never clump--however, I would not recommend using this with another mascara or using multiple coats if you have thinner lashes. It ends up looking very sticklike and clumpy. Works well on the bottom lashes, too--overall, a great product!

I'm starting to think I have ridiculously high expectations when it comes to mascara, as I'm yet to come across one I like. Asides from clumping my eyelashes together and making them black this does absolutely nothing for my lashes. It doesn't make them look long or like "falsies," at all. Very disappointing.

I love both of the Falsies mascara, but the Flared has to be my favorite!! It really maximizes my lashes and makes them look like I am wearing "every-day" false lashes. I would just recommend cleaning the brush off once or twice a month to ensure a clump-free look:)

I'm a Maybelline fan..BUT I do not recommend this product.It's a very heavy,chunky mascara.Impossible to apply it evenly.If you want to try this product line,go for the normal version,instead of the waterproof one!
