I bought this mascara after seeing multiple ads on TV. BIG MISTAKE!


The brush is so fat that my naturally long eyelashes just get stuck together. It often just left clumps of pigment on my lashes that hardened into a nasty looking tangle of lashes.

Would not suggest to others when there are reasonably priced alternatives.

My sister uses this so I figured I would give it a try. I wasn't overly impressed. They definitely didn't look like false eyelashes! I didn't like the shape of the brush, and the mascara was a bit clumpy, and I ended up getting a bit of it on my skin. Once it was on, it didn't look too bad, but I wouldn't use it again.

This has quite a nice inky black pigmentation which will pair up great with smoky eyes. Color pay off is very dramatic and it makes my lashes look incredibly dark and mysterious! The brush itself is slim sans bushy bristles with a spoon style curve downward. The curve of the brush makes it very easy to fit across your lash line and lift lashes upwards and out allowing the mascara to provide nice curl, decent volume, and a fair bit of length. The formula dries down a touch to quickly which makes building lashes up a problem for me. Applying wet mascara on dried mascara equals a juicy mess. Solution? Work quickly to get as many coats as possible on because the quick drying formula will create havoc and you’ll end up with a clumpy mess. Speaking of clumpy this does apply rather clumpy and spidery so you have to brush very easily. I wouldn't call the end result a false lash look to be honest. It creates nice length but lashes aren’t nearly as full as I’d like them to be nor is the end result dramatic enough for my tastes.

I found that the mascara was easy to smudge while applying. It was difficult to wash off at the end of the day.

This product works well on defining how long my lashes are but not so much on the anti-clumping side. If you don't check the wand before applying, lashes can easily become clumped together and turn into a big mess. But on the other hand of you are a bit of a neat freak about the make up before it touches anything, it should work fine.

Mascara is a definite lifesaver in beauty essentials. I would recommend this particular product to anyone. Although it doesn’t offer the same likeness to other higher end products such as Dior (Blackout) and YSL (Volume Effect Faux Cils), it is perfect for everyday use. The brush itself has amazing coverage for the entire lash in a few strokes. Not to mention the price, which is cheap!

Like a lot of other ladies, I was super excited about this product. The look of falsies without the hassle? Wonderful! The verdict? Not so wonderful. This mascara was so thick and lumpy it was like trying to brush paste on my lashes. I also found the brush too thick and awkward to use. After a couple of tries it hit the trash bin. The search for the perfect mascara continues.

Did not like at all, made my eyelashes clump & was very hard to remove.

Although it does seem to make my eyelashes longer this stuff is terrible!!!!!! It makes your eyelashes sticky and is not comfortable to wear at all! You have to use your make-up remover twice to get the tar like mascara off......yuck!

I love experimenting with mascaras and I was excited to see Maybelline had a new product out. Unfortunately this product didn't do the job for me. It was shiny yes but it made my eyelashes thin and seperate even when I tried to put on multiple layers. It did lengthen them but I guess I like a more fuller lash. It felt a little too plastic-y and sticky on my lashes for my liking. Thumbs down for this one.
