    For all the claims, this is just another mascara. To get any length you have to use 3 coats and then you are dealing with a clumpy mess. For a day look it is fine, thickens and they look slightly longer, but for night, if you want the false lashes look.... I recommend the real things.

    I was really excited to try this mascara. I thought it was at a good price since mascara these days are becoming more expensive. I was afraid I'd be disappointed with mascara but I'm not. My eyelashes turned out really pretty. I like the size of the wand. It's small and easy to handle. I did have to apply many many coats but it didn't clump up on me. I like how it fanned out my lashes and made them really dark. I wouldn't say they look like false lashes by any means but I did achieve length and volume with this. I still think DiorShow gives me the most volume and length but Falsies is a good alternative if you don't want to spend that much.

    Picked this up on super sale at Shopper's Drug Mart for $3.99. Cheaper than my usual mascara, so I thought I'd at least try it out.

    Not bad mascara, but it is average. I had to use about 3 coats to get the look I desired, even though it does have a lot of pigment. I must admit it didn't clump up on me in the process, though there wasn't a lot of length or volume to be seen. There are other mascaras out there with "spoon" or curved brushes that perform the same at a lesser price. There is no new technology here.

    Really, my issue is with the advertising and the name. Falsies? Hardly. If you mean the model is wearing false eye lashes, then okay, I believe you. Maybelline isn't the only company who pulls this stunt, but because it decided to name this mascara so wrongly, I say this:

    Maybelline = FALSE.

    This mascara is amazing! I have long, full lashes and it's hard for me to find a Saturday night mascara that's not over $10. This is it! I have my tried & true (Maybelline Great Lash) that I stick by during the week for work etc., but this one is definitely my night-out mascara.
    With 2 coats it covers all lashes perfectly - lengthens and volumizes with no clumps. I've tried the Colossal mascara, and wasn't impressed with it. The brush is amazing!!
    I'm so glad I found this little gem - don't give it up Maybelline - you've got a winner here!! Ladies check this out for sure - it's definitely worth it.

    I'm very brand loyal when it comes to mascara and have an arsenal of tried and true items which I love...but once in awhile blog chatter will have me coveting something new...in this case, Maybelline's new Falsies masaca. There had been a lot of positive reviews of late in the blogsosphere so I thought I'd give it a shot...my mistake. Don't believe the hype! This mascara certainly doe not give one the "false lashes" look....if anything, it gave me a totally natural lash...no volume, no lengthening...nada. Save your dough and stick with what you love already. This is a big pass for me.

    I agree with Miss Chickie - this is an awesome Mascara.

    The shape of the brush gives my eyelashes a nice curl - and I'm not just copying a commercial slogan here - I can actually see the difference.

    It's easy to apply and drys fairly quickly. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a Mascara is too wet and you end up smudging it onto your eyelids when you blink.

    The mascara washes off easily. I didn't feel like I was tugging at my eyelashes or eyelids when I was washing it off.

    Finally, the bright color of the tube doesn't disappear into the bottom of your makeup bag. It's always easy to find!

    I think this is Maybelline's best mascara to date.

    The Falsies comes from the Colossal family and is everything you love about that mascara, but better. It delivers dramatic volume and length to the lashes that is more noticeable than other mascaras. A few people commented when I wore it the first time that they noticed a difference. The scent many complained about from The Colossal is not present in this formula, and lashes though quite dramatic, feel soft all day long. I love the packaging too.

    I wouldn't expect to look like you are wearing a full set of false eyelashes, but it is a significant boost in both volume and length. It's my new favourite mascara of the moment.

    I have been wearing this mascara every day since I got an advance sample and it's the only one I want to wear. There hasn't been any flaking, smudging or clumping. The Falsies are a win on every level.

    * Please note, I did get my mascara for free and this will be offered in an upcoming product review club, but I was not compensated for this review or obliged to review it. I am never compensated for my reviews.
