Maybelline got this product right... a 10 out of 10 ! This was my favourite eye shadow pallet over the holidays. I could easily create a natural look for the office... and then glam it up for the evening and parties. The looks that can be created are endless. Easy to apply, easy to blend and long lasting. The natural look trend is not going away anytime soon and these "nudes" make this trend possible with little effort.

The price of this palette is great. The colors have a good amount of pigment to them and the amount of colors you get for the price is a huge sell. My only issue with this palette is they seem to apply splotchy (nothing a good amount of blending and patience can't fix though) I use this palette alot aside from my issue with it, so it really isnt a huge deal, just a minor detail. I would recommend this product but it would come with a warning of splotchy application.

This eyeshadow palette has 12 colours in it. It's a decent mix of cool and warm tones in the palette. There aren't really any true mattes in this palette, but the ones that appear to be matte have the slightest hint of shimmer in them, which doesn't show up that much.

The ones that appear to be matte with a tiny bit of shimmer:
- peach
- light taupe
- chocolate brown
- a darker brown
- soft black

Shimmer:
- frosty white
- light taupe (which is pretty much similar to the one more matte)
- a slightly darker taupe
- light pink/peach
- chocolate brown

Metallic:
- copper
- gold

Most of the colours are hard to pick up with a brush, like with the other Maybelline eyeshadows, as they're drier in formula. The easiest are the copper, gold, and the shimmer chocolate brown, and those are definitely the winning colours in this palette. The hardest colours to pick up are the light shimmers, like the frosty white, and light pink/peach. The black is not a true black, it's more soft, which is good because it's not so harsh on the lids. It could be built up. The eyeshadows can become a bit patchy and hard to blend though, so try and use a primer underneath and try to blend well. The pigmentation is okay, and really good with the copper. One thing I like is that there isn't that much fallout, and that's probably due to the fact that they are harder in formula.

I like using the more matte light taupe for filling in my brows. I think this is a decent palette to bring with you if you want touch ups, as the case is slim. It includes a dual ended sponge applicator as well.

Overall, it's an okay palette. I had fun experimenting with different looks with it. You don't have to run out and get it right away, and better to wait for a sale on it. This regularly retails about $10 to $14 CAN, depending on which store you're in. I would recommend this palette for a beginner, or if you need some kind of neutral palette right away and don't have a lot to spend on. Alternatively, you can check out bh cosmetics palettes for less expensive neutral eyeshadow palettes.

I love love love this palette! It is an amazing deal for how many colors you get. They are all wonderfully pigmented. They blend so well together and with other eye shadows. They are a creamy matte shadow with some shimmery shadows included but not to shimmery. This palette goes well with any skin tone and can make numerous looks with it. If traveling you could take it and have everything you need with just this palette, it is very versatile. A must have for every makeup bag. :-)

I have hazel coloured eyes and these shades compliment nicely. The palette offers endless possibilities for daytime or nighttime. Experimenting is fun with these colours. Coverage is good. I didn't find a need to use primer. Nice to have while travelling especially for upcoming holidays. Purchased on sale at Shoppers for $13.

The palette offers great colors in different shades of brown and gold but the pigmintation is not as strong as I would like.

I finally found this palette at walmart for $11. It's very affordable, and one of the first palettes that have been released as a "drugstore" brand makeup line. I love how the colours are neutral, however I find some of the shadows are not as pigmented as they should be. Some come out sparkly, yet in the package they look matte. I will keep playing around with this palette. So far, I like it.

There is a nice range of cool and warm tones. I can't say the pigmentation is good for all the shades. I found that the shimmer shades had better pay off than the mattes. I would definitely recommend using a primer. Actually, the new Color Tattoos from the Leather Collection, would work nicely as bases for these shadows.
Overall it's nice to see an affordable neutral palette. The shadows are a bit hit and miss, but I noticed better payoff with a primer used.

Very good pigmentation , affortable , here in Canada it´s around 15$ !
A good size , slim , easy to carried in a handbag or on vacation ! It´s a must have if you dont have any basic nude palette !

The new Maybelline The Nudes eye shadow palette is just wow! The colors are beautiful nude highly pigmented dreams on the eyes. This palette has shades to compliment all eye colors making everyone's eyes pop. Great price! A must have for all!
