I'm a bit on the fence about this mascara. It just came on the market and I got an advance PR sample. It's part of the Volum' Express family that includes the Colossal, which I really like.

The packaging got me from hello because I happen to love that shade of pink. I'm a sucker, I know.

The concept of this mascara is it is designed to leave no lash behind. The brush has over 300 elastometric bristles to grab and detangle every single lash. The formula contains Vitamin C and fruit AHAs to condition the lash cuticle. They say it is an "everyday wearable" mascara.

That it is. It's an everyday look.

It does a great job creating a full fan look to the lashes, which I really like but there isn't that much volume. For someone who prefers a barely there makeup look, I could see this mascara being very appealing because your lashes will look full and natural. However, I'm someone who likes volume every day. I don't buy separate mascaras for different occasions. I like big lashes all the time without exception.

I also found the formula doesn't feel as soft on my lashes and I do experience some mild flaking at the end of the day, which is a big pet peeve. I prefer the Falsies and the Colossal to this one, but you might like it!
